Stopped in for an amazing seafood lunch. Try the seafood chowder and crab 🦀 and shrimp 🍤 cakes. Very cozy restaurant and comfortable bar

Location is horrible; far back of granville by the Pier32 is. However, you will have a nice sleep not hearing typical tourist traffic below. For a supposed great tourist spot you would hope for helpful hints about the city, but I was just handed a map and usher on. The island is dense enough with fun finds to eat, treat and dazzle you with interest.

Conference / meeting spaces are well maintained and serviced. I attended an evening event for speakers. As someone who frequently attends global events, from a company that is very active in Hospitality, I would be happy to recommend this hotel.

I did not stay here. My husband took a course at the hotel for 4 days. I came and waited for him each day around 5 pm. The staff were always friendly and said "hi"

It's a really beautiful hotel! Though I wasn't staying there, but I worked an event there and the staff was really nice, and the lobby was beautiful. We were mostly in the restaurant area and they have this beautiful view to the outside patio. Very nice!

Great location for the hotel!!! For the most part we had breakfast at the patio overlooking a great view of the water and boats. The breakfast was always amazing at the Dockside restaurant and they have great and polite servers. Reese, was our server for the most part and he was really great!
I enjoyed the comfort that the beds and pillows provide. We slept soundly every single night and woke up refreshed! Thumbs up to the type of mattresses that they have lol!
The downside of the hotel was the level of cleanliness in the rooms.
a) The first day we checked in, we found the toilet seat was up and a brownish stain on a corner on the underside of the seat. Gross!!!!!! It was still there on day 2 of our stay!
b) On the front of the drawers under the sink, there were stains/fingerprints and it looked like someone had tried to wipe the place using a rag that was wet and so one could see the streaks!
c) The second day when we came back to the room in the evening, (we had been out the whole day) the bathroom glass screen in the shower had soap prints; which means that the shower was not cleaned at all!
d) Our bedsheets were never changed the whole time we were there!
e) Another problem was a particular front desk staff that I believe should be trained in the professional handling of customers. I explained to her my problem but she acted as though she didn't even hear what I had said and kept defending a certain employee that I had earlier dealt with saying "I swear that ***** (employee's name) would never say that". I got so frustrated and when I asked for her manager, she said they were in a meeting.
I have slept in hotels that didn't charge as much as Granville but had top-notch service, cleanliness, etc. I don't think I will stay here again.response / report this review -

Stayed here two nights for our 49th anniversary and enjoyed the experience. The staff could not have been better with Christine in the Hotel and Jeremy in the restaurant.
My Wife and I are elderly so the food in the restaurant is not something
we understand or particularly enjoy but Jeremy was able to help us create something we enjoyed and and a result instead of going elsewhere we stayed and ate there both nights and breakfasts. Great staff often makes the difference.response / report this review -

This hotel is a treat to stay at. The rooms are clean and for the most part modern. Check in takes little time and the staff are very happy to assist you. Being on Granville Island, this hotel gives you access to many shops and restaurants within 8 minutes walking distance. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in this area of Vancouver

Girlfriend and I stayed here for two nights/three days as a weekend getaway. The hotel room was very comfortable with a great view of the water. The service was quick and responsive, and the staff were very helpful when questioned about local sights and the weather- we were snowed in for the second day!
Overall the stay was wonderful, and the public market and all the great Granville Island shopping were comfortably within walking distance!response / report this review -

the rooms are lovely, - attractive and functional for travellers.
The location is fantastic.
The staff are helpful and when an issue arose, they went out of their way to fix the problem and make the stay even better! I travel frequently for business and am always impressed when the staff takes care of everything for you.
We were here on a holiday, but I intend to book for business stays as well.
