Went for the Naked Hearts festival stayed for Drag Brunch on Sundays!! Welcoming atmosphere, delicious food, and incredibly affordable.

One of my favourite spaces in the city! Great book selection, amazing staff (love Terrence!), and a great, inclusive atmosphere with good vegan eats and good coffee. Also, they hold inclusive events :)

Stopped in for brunch this past Sunday.
Their brunch on the weekend is hosted by 2 Drag Queens, and they were great, sassy and engaging performers.
Food was good and for those who are vegan, there are options for you! $4 mimosas are pretty awesome too.response / report this review -

Came here to watch a performance done by a local (and amazing) artist. The atmosphere is nice and soothing, and the interior is just gorgeous. A great place to relax and read, but the drink prices are a bit too pricey for me. I would love to come here again though!

On a recommendation for the nachos, took my cousin who is visiting from Pennsylvania last night for dinner and a drink. The atmosphere was welcoming from the moment we walked in. We decided to sit at the Bar and were greeted immediately. Our order was taken and we were checked on by various people to ensure we were enjoying our food and if we needed anything else, it was taken care of. I kept opening up My Shazam to find the songs they were playing and my cousin even chatted with one of the patrons (I think) about a plant they were watering. She commented on nice everyone was. For a cold and damp day, it was a warm environment that I will definitely be returning to.

Fantastic place with great atmosphere. I love spending time here because it doesn't give off a bar vibe even though they serve alcohol. It's a welcoming atmosphere.
However, the hours listed on Google are for their bookstore hours! They are open late every day for their bar.response / report this review -

A nice little bookstore with a big heart. I was told it has existed since the 70's. The book clerk let me browse the books undisturbed. The sound of Enya played at some point, volume low and pleasant. This is also a place for beverages and boardgames. Books, novels, graphic novels and coloring books are well organized. Once I started asking recommendations, I got at least six that had to do with what I was looking for. Wish I had more money on hand. I photographed those I didn't buy. The clerk said they have an online store. I left with two interesting reads. One for myself and one for a friend :)

Not just a bookshop (though I hear the selection is great). Also a cozy place to grab a drink/bite or have a coffee and work on your laptop. They also have a bookshelf full of games!

The world's oldest and best queer bookshop! Really great selection, friendly and knowledgeable staff, and a real community anchor for Toronto's queer folks. Also: they have a bar now! Who doesn't want a pint with their poetry and prose?

Super cozy space. The book selection is ordered by genre, geographic location, themes It makes the browsing experience really interesting. It is very tempting to just take a book, sit in their café, and let time pass.
