Old apartment building converted into a hotel. Rooms are small. Beds aren't that comfy, got a room for four people and it had plates, coffee and everything else arranged for two. Way over priced for what you get. Not to mention we asked if there were balconies and told there was but you aren't allowed to access them (so why say they're there?)

You get what you pay for. It's a cheaper option in Toronto that is walkable to a lot of shopping and food. Unfortunately the rooms are a little outdated and could use some cleaning and finish work. My room had dirty grout in tile, wood floors were breaking in parts and the paint/drywall needed some attention. I probably wouldn't stay here again, but if it fits your budget then go for it.

Stopped by briefly with my brother and father to help with my moving. Place was immaculate, was a great surprise! Location's excellent for walking around as well. Staff were friendly and helpful with provisions.

Walls were dirty, bathroom fan did not work, shower temp was very inconsistent, dodgy AC setup with wires poking out the bottom. Would not stay again or recommend to anyone. At least the staff were pleasant.

Hallways smelled of worldly foods and diapers. Main lobby and elevators always smelled like hot dogs. Room was baren. Floor uneven. Baseboards were dusty. Floor was grimy. I was afraid to take off my shoes. A million shelves with nothing on them. Room had a nice balcony but it was locked. When asked about balcony we were told the suicide rate was high due to multiple jumpers so the owner locked all the balcony doors. In a place like that I can believe it. Fridge door broken. Room has no temp control and an ancient air conditioner that when running sounds like a broken down car. We were also told by front desk that this was their better more updated of rooms. $30 PLUS TAX for parking. Would liken the experience to a hostel. Not a bad area and nice bed though.

Staff was friendly and the location was great for the price. However the rooms were poorly upgraded and the craftsmanship was poor. There was just sloppy finished all over the place. We had out room wall leak from a pipe from a joining room in the middle of the night and got up to wet clothes on the floor. He out friend have drainage issues with the shower in their room. The rooms were very spacious and having in the full kitchen in them was great. Based on friends with us I was told some rooms were nicer than others. The pool and gym/sauna we're apparently not bad. For a place to crash for the night it's acceptable, would not want to stay multiple nights however.

Very nice rooms, complete kitchen, separate bedroom furnished living room. The building is a bit old but it's well kept and maintained. I would highly recommend staying here if you're in Toronto for a week or more.

The first time we tried to check in, the girl at the front desk was really nice but once we started to have credit card problems the night time manager I don't remember his name but he was middle eastern and was very rude to us saying there he was nothing he could do to help us. We ended up staying at the Best Western that night and had a very good experience. The next day we went and put more money on our credit card and decided to go back to the Town Inn Suites because it seemed like they had some pretty nice rooms as we were looking to stay for a long term stay. Check inn was pretty easy and the girls at the front desk seemed to be in a pretty cheerful mood. We spent one night in the deluxe suite and it was pretty small compared to the pictures online. It also says online that there is a balcony included in our suite but when we got up there it was locked and we were told that we were not able to access it. The room itself was alright. The bedroom was pretty small and the beds weren't that comfortable but they were good enough. (pretty small as well) The closets were very small along with the bathroom and it wasn't very clean to say the most.
We decided to extend the room in the morning because the woman at the front desk said she would give us the room at a fixed rate if we extended for a week. When we went downstairs to extend the room the manager Daniel told us that we were not allowed to extend the room and we had to leave as we were banned for life for having too much traffic in our room. We never once had anyone in our room during our stay and were in bed by 11:00pm. He was very rude and didn't give much explanation as to why we were being banned because no one had been in our room except for us.
We are a quiet couple that was just trying to enjoy our stay and I think just because I am white and my boyfriend is mixed they discriminated us by thinking we were doing something illegal.
As soon as we left the hotel, we found a better place to check in and my boyfriend noticed that he had been itchy all day and took a look and had bites all over his body. I believe this hotel has bed bugs and like I said isn't very cleanly. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. It may be cheap but it isn't what it looks like and we were not happy with the discrimination and the lies that they had came up with.

I was visiting a friend at this hotel and I was very impressed with the size of the suite. There was a large living room and dining room attached to the kitchen, which was stocked with utensils and dishwasher tablets. The living room and the bedroom both had widescreen TVs. It's too bad that the balcony on the room was locked because the weather was nice, but I was told that come May they'll be opening the balconies.

The room was larger than we thought for the price we paid. The bed was comforable as well as all the other seating furniture. Only downside was the balcony was locked. Parking under the hotel was easy also.

This is by far the best place I've stayed in Toronto. The suites are fabulous and the staff are extremely helpful. The only issues I had was the Internet, the free Internet was okay but I decided to pay for the faster one. It wasn't faster or worth the extra $14 a day. An amazing place to stay. I'd recommend to everyone.

I would definitely stay here again. Great and friendly service. It was my Husband and I's anniversary and they gave us a complimentary room upgrade. Very satisfied and I love the very modern room style.
