I'd call the drink selection fairly small, plus they were out of several kinds of beer by 9pm on a Monday evening. Otherwise pretty good place, although might not be for you if you don't like a fairly loud setting.

Went for breakfast. What a deal. 7:50 for a full breakfast with real sausage. It was tasty. Friendly service. Excellent choice on the Granville strip. When it's not busy.

An old favourite of mine. Decent beer selection & good food. I still miss up your kilt Thursdays though! Fun place to watch a hockey game too.

I've heard good things about this place but I must of caught the waiter on a bad day. I know it is not the fault of the business and the food was alright, but being ignored when I could see others who I arrived later than me being serviced bothered me. I would be willing to give a second chance and change my review with a better experience.

I really like doolins. They keep a good atmosphere for a very diverse crowd, do events right, and are staffed well. Despite a lot of impressive decor I wouldn't consider it a super authentic Irish bar (try Johnnie foxes x the street, eat the stew and meat pies), but it is a damn good one with plenty of room and is attached to a more dancey club downstairs!

Such an awesome place! Great food, super friendly staff. Came in for dinner and thought it was so fun, I wandered back for a nightcap around 10 p.m. Amazing live music on a Monday night..3 hours later, I should leave, but can't bring myself to do it! ***Edit to my original post*** Now that I've spent a few evenings enjoying appetizers and dinner here (and tasting my companions choices), I feel I can safely say there is nothing on their menu that will disappoint! The staff has proven to be consistently friendly and helpful every time. Doolin's Irish Pub has definitely become a must-stop for me anytime I am in Vancouver!

Very rude bartender.
No accountability for their actions and such attitude. Also made fun of my friends appearance even tho she is very ill.
Would have expected that kinda treatment from a female, not a male.
Will not be going back, no one needs to pay to be treated that way

Spacious multilevel pub with a cozy atmosphere. Decent beer selection on tap. Food was overly salty and left something to be desired.

It's a great social environment. Home of the Whitecap Southsiders. Always good to go to before or after a downtown event.

Always a fun time with the fellas. They had a very well organized SB party. It was a bit of a gong-show trying to settle the bill at the end of the night, but the good food made up for it!
