Very busy and lively place on a weekend. Reasonably priced drinks and pub food. They have live music on fairly often playing well known covers that make a great night. There is a cover charge on busy nights with music.

I've never been during dinner hours, but the Blarney is always a solid option for a night out. There's nothing spectacular about it, but it seems to avoid all the problems of many comparable downtown bars. Decent beer list, decent band that plays party favourites. Decent bar staff and rarely much of a lineup. Decent mixed crowd that ranges from university students to young professionals to some older folks. I sometimes get a weird vibe from the door staff, but all around a decent place.

What a fantastic spot in town!
The live band really brought a sense of homeliness to the joint.

The food was delicious, and the drinks appropriate.

I would highly recommend others to book your next party here.

I love this place! Great Irish pub, good music and we had outstanding comfort food. They initially didn't heat my pie (it was cold) but they were super responsive and corrected my food order and then the Kitchen picked up the bill which they didn't have to do. The quality of the ingredients is top notch and the beer selection is great. You can't go wrong with this stop in Gastown.

Haven't ordered food here but I probably wouldn't come here for a meal: instead, come to Blarney Stone for the fun trivia nights and live music. Also, great for parties. Also, similar vibe to The Alehouse in Halifax

What a fantastic Irish pub! Delicious and fresh, healthy food, good prices, and good beer and cider.

Great place to visiting on Fridays and Saturdays. One of the best bars in the city. After 10 it draws more of a young crowd that fills a dance floor.

Decent but a little bit over-priced irish pub in the middle of Gastown.
In my opinion, there are better places around the corner, and that's why i'd bump them down one star.

The food is quite good for what looks like a traditional pub. Good salads and other options in addition to their typical pub fare. Service can be hit and miss and the place can get quite busy.

This place is a solid night out! The live music is fantastic and its such a lively bar that it would be hard not to have a good time. The drink specials are pretty decent and there is lots of space to venture around.

The band performed too many Irish songs that I had never heard before. But overall a great experience. Service was ok, and the food was lower than average. Line up at the door and $12 entrance charge for an almost empty house.

It was really busy, but the bar tenders were fast and attentive and the drinks themselves were good. The music was really good, both the preset songs and they had a decent band playing.

Drinks seemed pretty expensive, but I'm not sure if that's cus they actually are expensive or because I'm cheap.

Came here for my friend's pub night so I can't say much about the cover charges. Friendly staff. Great live music. There were 2/$6.5 shots, which was a great steal. Had lots of fun here even though I wasn't exactly into the type of music.

The place is amazing, a bit hard to buy a beer, but I loved it, St Patrick's day here was one of the best days I've ever had

Go in the daytime for great food but at night it appears they lose their brains! Half of food items sold out at 830pm! And they asked a $15 cover charge. Outrageous considering the cover band wasnt even on yet. Ive been to clubs, paid either nothing or a few bucks and had a way better experience.
Oh they served me my 3rd choice meal without utensils or a napkin. Like I said go in the daytime as food is great. At night they have disorganized staff, food and a stupid cover charge.
