Enjoyable space where you can chat with friends in a quiet corner on the upper floor or hold a large group meeting at one of the huge tables on the main floor.

Tea and coffee is standard.

When I did stop in (last summer), was met with smiles n friendly welcoming service. Grabbed an espresso Was perfect The crema just right on top sealed in the dark rich n bold flavours.

Dark Horse, at least this one, is big with lots of seating. Its often too busy to find a seat and there can be a small amount of chaos at the serving location, but it's mostly a pretty great spot. The wifi works really well, however, there are no power outlets here.

Best iced latte in town. The atmosphere is kind of like an Apple store cause it has a wooded floor, simple decor, large central bar and huge windows. It's a very clean looking open space. The desserts are all hand made and taste fresh. Great place for city people on the go or for students to come in and read with a coffee.

Super hip and work casual. Perfect for a one on one, mix of community and individual seating. Lots of graphic designers come here. Great drinks, and solid merch. Good meet up location. Awesome music store next door.

I love their coffee, vibes, and the friendly staffs. BUT they should change the speakers or lower the volume. The music hurt my ears so much and it almost made me think if they want the customers to leave.

Honestly, I consider Dark Horse to be the best espresso in the city. Love their lattes and iced americanos! This spot is great for doing some afternoon reading or catching up with a friend.

Cold brew is their best item on their menu. Their espresso based drinks are ok, not my favorite, but much better than average. Great food selection if your looking for a quick bite. Space is unique and friendly. Back seating needs more lighting. But the front gives a nice few and great for people watching.

Great place to have a delicious coffee with a good view. The only bad thing is that they don't have an outlet where you can connect your electronic devices. Otherwise, great place.

Such a nice local coffee shop. There are some tasty juices as well as the traditional espresso beverages. Can be busy at times but the lounge is a nice place to chill. Check out the green wall out the northern exit.

Nice and well lit. Busy but excellent service. Only downside was that the music was just a little too loud. I was by myself by if I was with someone if would be hard to have a conversation. The americano I had was great.

Their hot chocolate was simple and not too sweet. Their pastries are delicious; my favourite was their butter tarts.

Dark Horse is split level with the counter between the two. I find the first level to be pretty busy since it has windows, and large communal tables but it's really good for people watching. If you want a quieter table at Dark Horse, take the stairs to the second level.
