As many have said. The location and building are excellent with gardens and good food choices and shops. It can get very crowded in busy shopping seasons. If your looking to do some shopping and have the ability to take a break to get away from it at times this is a very food location.
Very nice shopping experience this time of year. Christmas trees all along the mall from various companies. Something to see!
Plus the large tree in the centre. Very impressive.
Nice mall downtown with a top floor food court attached to the Devonian Gardens. A nice space. The mall itself is good with a good variety of stores. Gets busy during lunch hour during the week. They do have free limited time parking during the week but they are also on the c-train line so easier to come in via transit.
Loved the top level! The tropical jungle up there is such a great hidden secret. Being able to take our food and walk off through the garden to find a seat was surprising and special.
I love this shopping center. It is new, nice and bright. Lots of shops and excellent food court. Convenient
D/T location. Definitely worth to visit if you are in Calgary.
Great stores and very conveniently located. Just wish it was open later and that the Devonian Gardens weren't under construction every time I stop by to see them! I miss the old gardens with the turtles and wild feel. The new gardens are a bit too "clean" and manicured.
From California I was visiting friends in Calgary and went downtown on a day I had to myself. Didn't know CORE was there. Conveniently right off the CTrain at 3rd St. Went in and browsed all the floors. Wish the Devonian gardens had been open. This is a higher end shopping center, so if you like less expensive stuff, you might try the Stephen Avenue Walk as an alternative, where I did buy a couple of things. Nonetheless, CORE is a beautiful facility not to be missed by the Calgary visitor.
The mall is very nice its self! Beautiful place, nice stores and nice places to grab a bite to eat. Not confusing to get around.
That being said the LASENZA store is terrible! The women working follow you around to the point where I actually had to say something.. Definitely wont be returning ever! Have some respect for your customers!
Right off of one of the downtown train stations there's a large shopping center, with a bunch of options to make it a convenient stop for downtown commuters. Honestly I spent way too much time here when I was younger waiting for my mum to pick me up after she as done work. I personally like the recent upgrades to the center, the food courts looks amazing with all the fresh plants. They're really trying to add more green to the downtown core. I preferred the old gardens though, the new ones remind me of a hospital. There's a huge variety of shops so you're likely to find what you need here.
Nice mall, wish the garden would open soon. Has a very modern feel, and the mall just looks fancy. Love spending time here with friends, location is very convenient for the C-train enterence is right off 3rd Street Station. Food court has great options, and it's so full of life. Love coming here. But some cons are workers need to be more welcoming and happy, and the Garden needs to open soon.
Best selection of high end shops in Calgary. Dead in the evenings. The glass roof is a nice touch with bright lights and open feel
I quite like the variety of shops you can browse, especially during the workday if you need to grab something. The food court has a good selection of various meals if you are in a group with diverse tastes. Although some stores may be slightly pricier than their suburban counterparts, prices are generally not too marked up.
Very large mall with lots of stores of all kinds! A lot of stores are high fashion, that is usually expensive. They have a few great food court locations. Many restaurants on main level and close by. Free wifi. Very large mall over 3 buildings. You are able to access each building through the +15 walkway system. Easily accessible from the 3rd Street C-train station.
A really nice complex, though limited store selection relative to some of the big suburban malls. Nice and quiet on the weekends. Devonian gardens on top floor are fantastic and great for kids (they include a playground). Biggest issue is figuring out where to park - check the website as there is free parking for shoppers on weekends.
Don't tell people about this place, it's great to be able to shop without loads of people around you. A good range of stores, notably bookended by the best Bay in town and Holt Renfrew. The food court is large and has good variety and looks over the perpetually renovated Devonian Gardens, which still hasn't regained it's original charm.
The Core always does the seasons well, especially Christmas; with its big tree, live music and charity decorating.
Affordable parking evenings and weekends and the valet parking is a godsend.
