I’ve been doing business with budget glass for over 17 years. In that time they’ve provided me with full house window packages, tempered deck glass, custom cut mirrors and displays for our businesses. Not to mention a few windshield repairs.
In all that time I’ve always found them to be super helpful and I’ve never been unhappy with their products. It says a lot about a business when they have such a long track record of doing great business in our city.response / report this review -

Their communication skills are dreadful. Placed my order for screens in the beginning of August and it is STILL not complete. Not much use for screens now moving into winter.

This company deserves 5 stars! I've dealt with them and have never had a problem. They always shine up the window before they leave after installation.
Recently I was forced to go with Star line because that is the developer's choice of my new home since it's under warranty. Star line is the worst and most unprofessional company and wouldn't ever waste my time with them if it were up to me.response / report this review -

Absolutely the worst!! I asked them to frame a mirror for my bathroom vanity and their worker decided to put a wire on it but that was not on my work order. The D-rings that came with the frame were not strong enough to support the mirror with a wire. A professional would know this kind of weight cannot be supported with this type of installation. When I called to speak to someone; it was not a priority with them and they will call me next week when they have time in their schedule. The receptionist actually laughed at me on the phone when I asked her to have someone call me first thing Monday morning. I was so put off that I cancelled my shower door order with them. Now my custom-ordered mirror has to have new holes drilled into it and a contractor has to come to my home to fix the mistake.

I have had the good folks at Budget Glass of Nanaimo do work at my business many times over the years including three significant projects. Each of the projects, including the last one that just completed yesterday, came in "on time and on budget" as usual. John and his staff do high quality work and I would highly recommend them for any project that you might need to have done.

We contacted Budget Glass based on a recommendation from a property manager based on his knowledge of their price and service. We were very very happy with the service from Budget Glass. They had the glass pane we needed in stock. We first contacted them at 8 AM and they had completed the repair the same morning by 9:30 AM. They cleaned up and removed all the broken glass, cleaned the windows and adjusted the door. We were able to continue on with our business day as normal. We were in contact with a receptionist who answered the phone at Budget Glass, and a repairman who came to do the work. The receptionist and the repairman were both very polite, professional, and knowledgeable. Based on our experience, we would highly recommend them!
