Worst experience ever. 600 dollars for 24hrs. ARE YOU JOKING? ? From them telling me there's only on truck left, and we had to take a 2 ton. Then driving there from ridge to see a whole lot full of trucks. thne to make it worse after calling to return it in the morning late because I needed an hrand ask If I could be charged and extra hr. The answer was NO, ill be charged for a full day $235. then to see the invoice shows hourly charges too and the day charged that wasn't needed. Just a scam.
Than after paying gas and taking a photo of the full gas and kilometers. They charge 130 for 30 litres that I'm sure didnt fit in there with the guage showing over full.
Then my invoice comes to 600 and being quote 159. ..I beyond displease.
Taking advange of people at a point of need is what the company slogan should be. I get having a profitable business is important., BUT THIS WAS A RIP OFF

Used to be one of the best car rental places on my list! Haven't been there for a while now. But will go there again if I need to rent.

The staff at this location are great friendly, quick, and no upselling. Watch out for Budget's policies though out-of-province travel on their "unlimited mileage" rentals will cost you a bundle. If you're going to leave BC, try Avis instead.

Terrible and over price rates. I rented a 2 ton truck for 2 days and it cost me $600 bucks?! Are you freaking kidding me. Regular rate is $120 per day but if you rent on the last week of the month, they jack up the price to $189 per month. What a bunch of crooks. I'll never rent anything from them again.

Probably policy was changed here. I don't know. But I was actually happy with this location. They provided higher class vehicle for me. Personnel was also very friendly. Only one negative thing here, Budget charges 10 CAD for crossing border, I didn't know that. But maybe they say about it on the website, so I just miss it.
Also they open early and office works on weekends. Plus I was able to leave a car after office was closed.

Seem to be a lot of bad reviews, but my experience has been good to great so far. I have been renting cars from this location for work trips for a few months now and the staff are pleasant, polite and professional. I requested a snow scraper last week since I was going to Kamloops and one of the staff went and found one from another vehicle while I did the paperwork with a second staff. I have not had any issues with the vehicles I've rented, and the fact that this location is open 7 days a week makes it a convenient choice for me. I will certainly be back.
