Very disappointed in this vet. Customer relations are poor at best. Our dog got a flea (thankfully singular) from a visit and they claimed it’s impossible because no dog that walks in there has fleas. Except our dog was there, so obviously that’s not true. On a separate occasion, tried to double charge us for anesthesia for two dental procedures, and fixed it only after we caught it. Just generally don’t like scaremongering vets and they’re guilty of that too.

DO NOT GO HERE. Tried to price gouge me over a thousand just in tests that were much cheaper everywhere else. After Dr. Anderson rudely suggested "that's what parents are for, or a credit card" I decided to opt for an extremely overpriced x-ray. I later discovered him reporting me to the SPCA in the paperwork, once I saw I had time to take my pet to see a proper vet, which is where I took him to, right after declining anymore of Dr. Anderson's "services". This guy only cares about money and should have his license removed.

This is a really good hospital!!!!!!

I was referred by a friend because my dog was losing weight. Went to few vets but no doctors could pin point the cause. Dr. Anderson was very knowledgeable and recommended some tests for my dog. We were able to get results very quickly and found out my dog had cancer. He explained in detail about the problem and treatment options and we agreed on surgery. Now my dog is in process of chemo therapy sessions done by Dr. Anderson and doing really well! Already gaining weight back!

His staff has been very helpful and sympathetic, gave me a lot of support along the way. They even went an extra mile to drop me and my dog off when I had difficulty arranging a ride one day. They are really professional people who are also caring for their clients and patients.

Dr. Anderson is NOT like other vets, telling me to try THIS first, then if it's not working, then try THAT for a while. After trying few things, time is wasted but things are not improving and my pet gets worse! A lot of people only see money money money, they feel that they don't pay much each time and the vets are helping them, but it actually does not do any good for the owner and their precious pet. Dr. Anderson offers different reasonable options for what he is able to do and I can select what I want or to have tests done in stages. Nobody "force" me to do anything.

Dr. Anderson's examination is very thorough, he cares for the overall health of my pet and not only what I book the appointment for. He found out my pet's dental and allergy problems which my previous vets never mentioned to me. I really care about dental health of myself so my pet's dental health is important to me too. After the treatment, all the symptoms related to allergy (that I used to always wonder what the cause was before but other vets couldn't cure) were gone.

Conclusion: I REALLY RECOMMEND THIS HOSPITAL. The Dr. is nice and knowledgeable, the staff is wonderful, and they DO care a lot about pets' health!!

My dog used to have ear infection for a while. Couple of my previous vets either did a quick cleaning during the exam or just gave me ear medication to take home. The ears didn't improve much and later became swollen, red and stinky. After I saw Dr. Anderson, I realized that the infection was really inside the ears. He sedated Rudy and did a proper and thorough clean. By the time I was back for recheck, the ears were totally back to normal. My dog was obviously not frustrated anymore. He was very uncomfortable due to the infection. And the funny thing is, Rudy never really liked any other vets before but he had no problem with Dr. Anderson. He and his staff were really gentle and caring for pets' health. The estimates were very reasonable too. People can say whatever they like but I want to share my OWN experience. And I believe the animal's instincts, like Rudy's, are the most true as well.

Avoid at all costs, unless you are in an emergency. Dr. Anderson recommended many unnecessary procedures. He seems to make up disorders for the animal just to have something to treat. For example, my cat had bladder stones for which he recommended surgery. Another veterinarian recommended prescription food and that cured him!

I have seen him on many occasions for an ongoing condition. It turns out the cat wasn't getting better because of inappropriate treatment, and that's why the recurring visits needed. I have seen him about 4-5 times for bladder stones during which various procedures were performed. I only had to see another veterinarian once, and the cat was cured ("Change his food", the other vet said).

I receive letters at home from Dr. Anderson that my cat needs immediate vet attention, along with mandatory blood work. Yet the cat is perfectly fine and healthy at home.

A few years ago he was running a promotion to review his business on Google and receive 10% off. I assume many of the positive reviews are coming from this.

I honestly had a horrible experience with him.

Anyone giving Dr. Anderson a bad review or saying he is only running a business and doesn't care about the animals, doesn't know what they are talking about. I took my dog to two different emergency vets on two separate occasions and they misdiagnosed him. Dr. Anderson is an amazing vet, he poured over all my dog's previous blood work and only did what was absolutely necessary to save my dog's life. He was always mindful of my budget and his prices are actually very reasonable for his in office procedures and overnight stays etc. The prices of things that need to be outsourced such as medication and certain tests, might be slightly higher due to the fact that this is a smaller practice and Dr. anderson's costs are high, but you will make up for it with the reduced costs elsewhere.
Cost aside, if it wasn't for Dr. Anderson's careful attention to detail, my dog would have been misdiagnosed and gone into complete liver failure and would have been dead, without ever knowing what was wrong with him. I am so grateful to him and his whole team!

They fix my boy up no problem, and right away, I came in with an emergency and left with out a problem. Great team and care.

I have been going to Dr. Anderson for many years for my 2 cats. Dr. Anderson is a highly trained veterinarian and his staff are always caring.

Sadly, one of my cats died almost a year ago. It was a hard thing to go through and I appreciated that Dr. Anderson presented me with all the options for care. I am truly glad, even if just for my own sake and despite the fact that he passed away, that we tried to save the life of my friend. I have continued to take my other cat to Dr. Anderson and often recommend him to my friends.

I don't think I would go anywhere other than Anderson Animal Hospital The care and support I have received are genuinely appreciated.

We took our cat here for neutering and shots, no complaints on this aspect. Their price is reasonable compared to other vets we called in the area. However, Dr. Anderson reminds me of a used car salesman. He is friendly & knowledgeable enough but subtly pushes for unnecessary procedures. Staff is courteous, but they have been taught to try and 'upsell' you as well. Just be wary and use discretion.

I had to take my reptile (leopard gecko) in because of what appeared to be an infection in his mouth. Dr Anderson was very thorough, informative, and took great care of Ziggy! He's given me tons of great advice to take better care of him and put me at ease. If you have a reptile I highly recommend going to here. They prices were reasonable and he answered all of my questions, I never felt rushed.
