Had my Janoo(kitten) neutered here, and I have to say that the staff(Tracy) and doctors(Bill and Amir) were excellent. Avon hospital I also found that the price to be at least 30% cheaper than others in the neighbourhood. Thank You.

I've been a client of Avon for many years, with many pets. I've come to know Dr Bill as a care giver and friend whom I trust to the health and care of my pets. The service and staff has always been top notch, I've been to other clinics and can say that, Avon is like being at home. Tracy always has a smile to welcome you at the door, something that is comforting when coming into a clinic.

Fantastic clinic, I'm so grateful for the off the charts treatment my Sr Boxer received at Avon. Dr Bill and his super-personable assistant, Tracy have given our girl her quality of life back. Thank you so much!!!

Edit - Response to owner. You will not find my name, it is under my mother's. Is it wrong to give reviews regarding the many clinics I have been to? Good or bad. Thats What reviews are? To dismiss my experience is just poor of you. Shameful.
I felt it right to place my experience on here not to shamethe clinic as a whole, but just my experience that left me shocked. This didhappen some time ago, but this review is spurred by a more recent experiencefrom a friend, who did not feel good about his visit, though his visit wasregards to a much less serious case.
A few years ago, a 3 year old family cat had rapidly lostweight and then stopped eating at a later point. She was under the short termcare of a family member who may have not noticed she was not well with theother cat in their house. Initially think she had lost weight from being moreactive, (chasing the new cat) but when a reduced weight rapidly became anextreme weightloss, then noticing a lack of appetite, we brought her into thenearest clinic.
I then received a call from a frantic and bawling mother whowas crying because she was told she may have to put her down.
Exam, bloodwork and hospitalization, yielded she hadlipidoses, a liver disease, possible cancer or lesions on the liver, was anemicand had jaundice. She was very weak, couldn’t even retract her claws properly.Eyes sunken. At this point, I had no issues with the veterinary care up untilthis point. I felt guilty and responsible, which to a very real extent we were,aside from the actual disease. The Dr. did say the condition is random but canbe triggered by stress. But generally found more in older cats. From here I pushedthe Dr. into possible options, treatment, extended care etc. I was in fightmode to save our 3 year old kitty. We would have done anything, no matter thecost. And we expressed this. To my dismay and shock, the Dr. was not hopeful.He did not say “there is a chance”, “she may make it”, “I’ve seen rare cases ofrecovery” or even “we’ll do what we can and hope for the best”. It was,consider humane euthanization. She most likely won’t make it. We could do anultrasound but she’s already so sick. This is where I was appalled. No hope. Nochance, just despair. I asked the Dr. if they were force feeding her. He saidno. I asked if she was stressed in this environment and may do better atdifferent home (away from the other cat). He said maybe. I asked if I couldtake her home, force feed her, and see what happens. He said I could try. Therewas no take home meds. Just a nutritional supplement and the poopy “criticalcare” food that some of my other cats don’t even eat. So we did, I took myweeping mother and our skinny little cat home, bought some other nice food,blended a “yummy” puree of food for her and hoped for the best. If she got anyworse, we’d bring her back. After 2 days of force feeding every 3 hours… shewas better! More alert. She greeted us when we came in. 4 days, she started GROWLINGat us when we would force feed her. HA! 7 days, she was eating on her own!Gaining weight, jumping on things. 2 months later, happy, healthy kitty. We dida follow-up at another clinic just for bloodwork. Her liver recovered well, sheseemed susceptible to stress, but otherwise was well on the mend and doingfine.
I do not think the Dr. was wrong in his diagnoses, choice ofdiagnostic work, or general basic “professional” practice. The clinic wasclean, fairly well price and staff was friendly enough. I am appalled at theprognosis and lack of support we were given. The infliction of dismal emotionswe were exposed to. If I at that time, let my emotions get the better of me, ordidn’t stay true to my nature and be stubborn and hopeful, our cat would havebeen gone that day. And for that, I will never return to the hospital forservice and if requested, I have shared my experience. I am one to hope, and needed a vet to hope and fight with me, my family and tough little still living, wonderful cat. Recent bloodwork yeilds she is doing just fine as a near 6 year old cat.response / report this review -

Very satisfied with the services. Very friendly staff and doctors, they take time to explain everything before proceeding with the treatment. Would definitely recommend going and getting a loving care for your pet as i got for my pet cat 'babu.'

Very disappointed with the care provided by the veterinarian at this location and because of that I have switched vets. The staff were all lovely, except for the actual veterinarian who I found to be extremely unprofessional. In the span of a 10 minute appointment he made fun of different races and implied that women are stupid. When i did not understand an instruction that he gave me, he spoke over me and rudely asked my boyfriend "does she speak english?". Overall, i do not recommend going here and I will not be returning.

Attention! Be careful about vets there. They do scare you and then recommend you to have x-ray and blood test. But don't do it and find another place to get second opinion. I personally did not lessen to them and my lovely dog after using deworm medicine has fully recovered.
Attention! All these good reviews are written by the same person. Just look at the wordings and compare them with real ones that scored very low!!!
The whole office smells very bad!

We've been dealing with AAH since they opened and over the years we have had a Lab and Yorkie pass due to age and currently have 2 more Yorkies, a Keeshond and a Persian cat. Dr. B and his staff have always shown compassion to us when it came time for the older ones and been knowledgeable, honest and reasonable in cost in care of our current pets. We recently had some issues with our youngest pet, the Keeshond and Dr. B did everything he could to help us determine the best course of action and we are very happy to say he is a happy dog again running around being the character that he is. We are grateful to this Vet and all of his staff and have recommended to those that we know when they get new family members.

I have two dogs, my second had to get a eye surgery because his bottom lid was turned inward, Dr. Bill did a great job with him, the staff was friendly and they took great care of our Labrador!

This was my first time going here, it was a very warm and welcoming place, all my questions were answered and any concerns I had about my puppy were put at ease. I will definitely be back and recommend it to everyone.

We took our new kitten (Freddie) here for his first visit to a vet and the care and quality of the service we received there is the best that we have encountered. The staff is warm and friendly and their treatment of Freddie was done with professionalism and warmth. This is a wonderful place to take your beloved pet for quality care. Thankyou to everyone at the clinic.
