Stayed here for work. The room was extremely large, but very old fashioned and could have done with redecorating. The location is good but for the price the nearby Ibis is better value. I wouldn't recommend this to colleagues.

This has to be a 4 star hotel? It was dirty. Pubic hairs on the toilet, glass of the shower door wasn't cleaned, there was still waste in the toilet. Mould in the bath. I had a Groupon for 2 days but still too much money. You're better of in a hostel

Stayed here for two nights. The room was big and spacious. I loved the Victorian Style. The Carpet is stained, and there is a bad smell in the room. The service was good. Breakfast is provided and they have a good variety of things.
Hotel has a shopping mall walking distance and is close to the Grand Place (about 20 minutes walking or 5 min in a car).
All in all my experience was good and I would stay here again. I just wish the carpet can be changed.response / report this review -

A wonderful hotel . Just got back .The room was spacious, , clean and had a lot of character with a fantastic bathroom . Staff were very helpful and patient . We enjoyed ourselves immensely and would highly recommend it.

The place is clean and the services are good. The breakfast is pricey, in my opinion, nevertheless it is tasty. The staff is particularly friendly and helpful. The location is great, close to the most important tourist attractions in Brussels and the means of transportation are close I recommend it!

I'm scrambling to write this review on the hotel's subpar wifi. We booked this hotel as an express deal on Priceline. All we knew was that it was gonna be a 4 star hotel in this area.
Checking in we were a bit taken aback by the old fashioned interior of the hotel lobby not knowing that the 7th floor our room was on would be even more outdated and in need of a renovation.
Opening the door to our room a wave of heat hit us and we made our way through the stagnant air to the big window that a) could be opened all the way but b) had a fire escape right outside of it - making it very easy to access our room from the outside. Not that anybody would wanna illegally enter this make shift Finnish sauna on a hot summer day.
My first thought was opening the mini fridge but - surprise - it wasn't working. After calling the front desk asking for a fan and somebody to fix the fridge the receptionist came up and told us it wasn't working and had to be fixed the next day. We asked if we could switch rooms until then but we're told the hotel was fully booked - mind we have not seen or heard a single other person since we got here.
We were offered to store our perishables in the downstairs hotel fridge, which sounds like a delightful idea if you wanna rehydrate your sweaty body at 3am with some cold water and have to get dressed and travel 7 floors down. Alas we declined his generous offer.
Our next step of action was to call Priceline to ask if they could help us out with our situation. After a lot of messaging back and forth and several calls to the front desk we were told nothing could be done and we wouldn't even be able to cancel our reservation because the manager had to sign off on big decisions like that and - guess what - he was off for the weekend.
So at this point one could hope to be offered some amenities like free breakfast, etc but all we got was the manager's business card which has little to none nutritional value.
I am writing this at 1am trying to find peace next to an open window, hoping not get shanked by whoever frequents the fire escape at night or getting eaten alive by mosquitos.

The hotel is nothing like they show in pictures . Heating was not working, staff did nothing to help . Can find better hotels around for this price.

Nice Hotel in a good location. Plenty of shops nearby and the city centre is only a 20 min walk away. We'd definitely stay again.
Nice rooms. However the wallpaper could need some glue and the bathroom is missing a vent.response / report this review -

We checked in earlier than we could, which was good because there is nothing to do around on Sundays. Room was big, and bed was comfortable, but rooms are old which makes it less pleasant. Bathroom is small and shower wasn't good. We missed breakfast so can't say anything about it, but when we were checking out at around 11:00 which is 30 minutes after breakfast they didn't even offer us some coffee.
