The view from the apartments was great. Apartments seemed cosy. I've no idea how people actually live there. I didn't like the ground level much. A homeless guy, smoking outside the bar, a chap burping loudly. Didn't seem family friendly to me.

We stayed at Tribeca Appartments in November with my inlaws.After staying there previously we thought we would give the place another look.Upon checkin which was not so friendly we were given no info or map of Melbourne.
Went to our appartment which was roomy .
Fortunately we had brought our own shower curtain as every bathroom does not have a screen or curtain! !!!
Tried to find the pool in complex & after two visits to reception found we were in the wrong building. Went for swim & pool was dirty with lots of tile grout on the bottom of pool & tiles missing of side .Also on the water line of pool there was a dark scum line ,which showed that proper cleaning hadn't been done for a while. When I asked reception about this they daid they had just engaged new cleaner???
During our stay my father in law got caught in the main lift & bruised his elbow badly,reception said that they had also been jammed in the lift door & this was out of their control! !.
The appartments themselves are spacious, with very comfy beds etc , but they need a spruce up.
Reception just seem to treat guests as just another customer ,which is disappointing. We also had items missing in kitchen which were replaced & had trouble with tv operation which reception helped with.
To rate appartments as 4.5 star is over the top .response / report this review -

Good location. Thats about it, check in needs 2 maps and 3 sets of keys. Sofa too small for 2 adults so couldnt relax. Bedroom was dingy. Not recommended

We enjoyed our stay at Tribeca Apartments and the staff were really helpful especially Vicki;We arrived really late but she waited for us . It's a short walk to the Cbd. I would stay there again.

The staff here are rude and seem a bit racist. I walked in with my family checking in and didn't receive any smiles or any welcoming greetings. Another family walked in and the staff were smiling at them making jokes with them, being very polite. They upgraded our room and told us not to use the other room (there's three of us). The other family of three (same as us) got upgraded as well and they were happy with them using the other room. I asked for help with where the pool is and yet again they answered with attitude. It wasn't just one but both the staff members at the check in. There was one nice staff member who happily helped us with everything though ! It's a shame because the apartments are quite nice and clean I would have given a much better review if I wasn't treated this unfairly..

Spent a weekend here with my now ex gf and a mate and his missus and had a great time. Double roomed apartment was huge, did not expect it, kept exceptionally clean and the staff were great as well. 100% will return

We had such an excellent experience with this establishment. We were having such a rough time our first day in the city and the staff here helped out so much. The lady working the reception desk was a lifesaver. Our room was beautiful and fully accommmodating. I would definitely go back. Cheers.

Location was great and convenient that's where it stops. Not family friendly at all, apartment was dirty, smelly and tired. At night the dampness in the apartment rose so much it made me cringe thinking we'd catch some airborne disease. We hired a portacot which had seen better days and was placed in lounge..clearly that's where it goes! so we had to rearrange bedroom to fit it in even if we got a 2 bedroom apartment and stipulated exactly number of people and kids. Bed was 'king' basically two ensembles placed together but unlike hotels the middle gap was very prominent and uncomfortable. One bathroom one towel only per adult, one mat one hand towel for 4 days!! Ive had better showers in backpackers, the basin as you wash your face if you don't crack your head open you end up with a free foot wash too. The 2 bedroom apartment was very pokey with a huge uncomfortable useless sofa bed. The parking reasonably priced but double check numbers and exactly where you are supposed to park and note lack of access to lifts defeating purpose of accessibility due to staircase only to access from car park level to the lift (I had infant in pram but how are disabled people supposed to access lifts from car park?)

Good beds, good clean linen and quiet location. Recommended for family stay. Good service from all staff. Central location. Secure parking for a reasonable fee.

Very good service apartments in a very good location. Within walking distance to the city and the MCG and Fitzroy and has trams running right in front of the apartments makes it easy to access and get around Melbourne. Due to recent popularity with AirBNB, some apartments have been converted to long term rental properties. IGA is conveniently available downstairs in the same premises; 7-11 and Maccas just down the road.

GREAT LOCATION!
Walking distance to Smith Street, Brunswick St. The G and even the CBD.
. If you dont mind a little bit of walking.

On check in the first room looked to be a great space but on looking around we found it was very dirty kitchen benches not wiped over ,shower looked like we would have to wear thongs in it as it was still covered in soap from the previous stay , ledge above the main bed had a layer of dust bunnies that were visible from the door and the exstarction fan above the stove looked as though it had not been cleaned EVER..
Girl in reception was very helpful when I asked to change rooms and told her of all the issues and I thought it would be all fine in the new room but I was wrong!!!
We got down graded from the room we had paid for and on walking in it was very obvious
A portable ac unit in the corner of the room was our cooler and the kitchen was in just as bad condition with left over food on the splash back so needless to say we looked no further and went back down to complain about the poor cleanliness of the room.
This time a man came to look at the room and told me on the way that they had new contract cleaners and really did not seem to overly fussed
This all took about an hour and a half to sort out and ended with me telling them to clean our original room and we would be back once we had gone for some food. Wen we returned our original room had been cleaned not great but better
but we had to move our bags again and then went out to the balcony to relax and the rail fell off and down to the ground 4 floors below!!!!!
All in all bad not only the cleanliness but a lot of issues with the facilities and there up keep of rooms could go on but the short of it is will not stay here ever again and will not recommend it to anyoneresponse / report this review
