The male/Femail showers and toilets were being renovated on the 2nd floor. If I was told about the ablutions when booking, I would have stayed elsewhere. Not Happy ! Never again. Suggest phone before you book and ask if Everything is Working !

Pretty clean facilities, cool amenities, informative staff (for in-house events and general info), fairly decent location with good parking around. Rooms were slightly stuffy, and single elevator made for a wait but overall very reasonable and memorable stay

Friendly staff, staff always there to help you or point you in the right direction. Clean & hot showers. Would definitely come back, close to public transport.

Nice stay. Everything was clean, professional, and the hostel ran a lot of free events for the guests such as a bbq and a movie night. Very friendly environment.

It was really worth it, comfortable and in a nice residential area. Easily accessible and one stop away from the free tram zone. The parking area was in the basement of the building and the entry is from the backside of the street.

It was a really good stay. Nice staff and very helpful. Good food facilities and a guest kitchen. Good rooftop with an great view of the city. And it's also quiet so that's a big bonus. Only downside is that the power points in the dorm rooms are not next to the bunk beds so that if you want to charge your phone you can't have an alarm on because you'd have to get out of bet to turn it off. Another inconvenience is that the cupboard aren't supplied with there own locks but the reception does sell locks though. All in all a good place and if you want somewhere close to the city and at a cheap rate this is the place for you

Okay for a backpacker. Not okay for someone who wants to holidays.
The rooms are small and sometimes pretty cold. They have a very nice rooftop with wifi access. Breakfast is minimal and the coffe quite bad. They have lockers in the rooms if you bring your own padlock. Oh and the TVroom is quite nice.

Clean, great location and super helpful. I chose the yha over a hotel and stayed in an en suite room. Loved it! I travel with my bike. I was able to cycle all of my last day and store my luggage in lockers and have a shower after check out and before my 8pm flight. So great! Thanks so much to friendly staff for my awesome Melbourne stay.

I appreciate how clean the hostel was, but it definitely lacks any sort of a backpackers atmosphere. The events aren't well-run. There are many groups of high school children that stayed here while I was there and it was hard to find people of common age and interest. I moved over to Habitat HQ and that was a great hostel :)

Really appreciate the comfort and the clean state of the hostel but they DEFINITELY have to do something about their room management! In 5 weeks time I've spent in there, by extending more than in time my weeks, I had to be changed room 7 to 8 times so they can fill the hostel in for groups?! How do you do when you're actually a pretty regular and sure customer and got a job? Review your priority!
