I went there because they had a particular appliance that was not available at nearer Good Guys stores. Happy with the price and service.
The service here is hit or miss. I have met some extremely nice people here but there have been a couple of times when they were too quick to give us blunt 'i don't know' with 'i don't care' attitude. I understand that people don't know everything but at least show others that you're willing to help or find the answer.
Store is great and 90% of people that work there are awsome. But! I had a girl today. She looked so unprofessional. Chewing gum with her mouth wide open running skins and trainers on! Everyone else looked in some kind of order. Also she was so so rude i almost walked out. If it wasnt for a second sales person i would have walked out!!
After a big mixup with an online order, the manager George sorted it all out and provided first class service, saving our son an unnecessary trip from Melbourne. And all despite all computers being down. So refreshing to see a young manager intent on improving customer service and restoring confidence in this store. Thanks George.

The product I wanted to purchase was not available in store and was told by a rep that the product I seen online from their store could've been in Stock from another store anywhere in Australia.
Be nice if when looking online for something it states what stores in Australia have them in Stock.
The young girl who helped us was very nice so if it wasnt for that I'd give 0 stars.

Also the fridge needed to come from the main storage warehouse and a wonderful guy named Baz? (not sure of spelling) delivered it with all the politeness and smiles he could.

Purchased a few small kitchen appliances and was looked after by sales person "Tania" she is always friendly, helpful and does the best price she can. I always ask for this sales person and I have never been disappointed. The only negative feedback was waiting for 15 minutes to pay for the items and there was only one person in front of me. And Bree I read your review, hopefully you read this. Tania knows all about the Air Fryers, I was going to purchase a deep fryer and she recommended the Air fryer, she told me all the difference things that she cooks in hers, of course then I had to buy one, went $70 over my budget, I've had it for 3 mths and use it nearly every night, best money I've spent.
Went in shopping for a air fryer. The ladie helping me appeared to know about as much as I did. Which was not much at all. She was really no help at all and i walked out without my airfrer.( her first question was how often do you cook chips!!!! What the!!! I said once a week. She told me she didn't think they were really worth buying unless you cook alot of chips.. i hope it does more than bloody chips!! I expect staff to know about the products and if she dosent. Find someone for me that does. ( we were also interupted by a staff member telling her wben she was free she had to be somewhere else for training ) i didn't feel like she really helped me and i walked out more confused then when walking in. . Very disappointed as i really wanted help selecting one for my husband for fathers day. Now i have no time to purchase one as this was my only free day. I have purchased from you before and was very happy which is why i came back.
This mob couldn't provide a service they advertise. They offered a part cost and labour cost combined. Thought we would give it a go until they send around a contractor who forgot to show up the first time, then when did show a week later thought it would be cool to drag mud all over our white carpet. Called good guys many times after an inspection fee was paid and got crickets. Always to busy or in a meeting. Went back into store and a nice employee dropped a bit off the price. Printed a official quote for package and said come in and pay for it later as extra parts may need ordering. Went into pay and they tell me that quote was way to low and it's invalid (Excuse ME). After a debate about the princable of it this became clear they couldn't give a . about our history. I have spent 10k there in last 24 months, I'm just the idiot still believing In loyalty. Well all I can do is make it my personal quest to inform as many people as possible to shop in Werribee or Melbourne. Good work management. No point asking to be called people. It won't happen. Couldn't find anymore unhelpful staff, went in to look at purchasing at new television, and staff wouldn't price match, would only try and sell me the most expensive tv even though i told them my budget. 10 out of 10 would NOT recommend. It almost felt like it was my fault for trying to buy an new tv.
Had to engage a Geelong Legal firm to obtain a refund on a Samsung TV which wouldn't turn on. 5 weeks spent calling trying to get a resolution and my money back. Still haven't had a refund Good Guys Geelong are disgraceful. Never again and I will be telling everyone. JB HIFI for me from now on. DO NOT BUY FROM THE GOOD GUYS GEELONG. 1Star because I couldn't give no Stars.
Very poor service.
Each time I have been here they have refused to negotiate price, even when comparing prices with other stores on the same item.
Just last week my partner and I went to The Good Guys looking for a reasonably priced flat screen T.V
We paid for a full priced T.V in total. The went around the back to collect it. We waited 10 minutes before someone came to ask us what we were collecting. We then waited 40 minutes whilst they were supposedly grabbing the T.V for us. After this we then were told they could not find it and would sort it out, possibly having to replace it with the same T.V but 1inch bigger in size. Then after waiting another 20 minutes we were told that we would have to pay an extra $80 for the TV which was 1inch bigger.
After waiting around for over an hour we decided it wasn't worth it and requested a refund.
I have always shopped at the good guys because of their great service, however this seems to have changed. 3 messages and 3 hours to return a phonecall, to answer a question that took 30 seconds, is this normal nowadays at the good guys? No wonder people are going online in droves.
