Average backpacker hostel With 4 level building and 45 rooms.. From 4 beds to 12 beds at the fourth level.ah THE PLASTIC PILLOW dont mention .. Small kitchen with one small fridge and one cooking stove..it gets crowded to cook Has nice rooftop space for the guests usually for smokers Has 2 washer machines and 2 dryers.. it cost $3 for half an hour each machine.. otherwise you can hang the clothes in the rooftop on the cloths line Otherwise it's very easy going staff and very good location..
Good staff,clean room and kitchen
Nothing in fridge, limited service and self-service linen. Can of soft-drink or water bottle would be just perfecf.
Cheap and great location but bring a blanket and some bathroom shoes.
Not clean or tidy. Staff member was rude and unhelpful. Poor organisation with rooms and guests. The only upside was the free wi-fi which worked well. The beds are uncomfortable and there the air-conditioning barely works, making the rooms unbearably hot and humid, even on a cool day. Not reccomended.
Overall horrible experience. Holes in the bathroom walls, incredibly loud all night, cigarette butts in rooms etc
DO NOT GO IN THIS PLACE!!!
This is not a backpackers, but a staying place for people begging in the street. It is one of the dirtiest place I've ever sleep in. If you are a backpacker travelling to meet people, even if you look for cheap place, I strongly advice you to look at the next one. Our room (10 beds dorm) smelt like in a rubbish bin.
The showers and toilets are numerous and ok.
NO GO ZONE!
Dirtiest and smelliest hostel I've stayed in so far; I highly advise backpackers not to stay there, especially in large dorms!
Stayed in bunkers room of 8 person. Toilets soiled and smells. Common kitchen a bit small compared to the last backpackers I've stayed in Melbourne. Things are not cleaned up after using the kitchen by the backpackers. Occupants mainly workers, not really travelers backpackers.
Location is considered good with short working distance to trains and supermarkets.
