It's at a nice and convenient location just next to the Darling harbour. I was in a room on the first level and the view was good.

The breakfast was great for a small hotel.

My sleep was broken once due to noise. I think it was from the level below which was where the breakfast was setup.

The rooms are small but not too small. Overall I had a great experience

A good place to sleep and recharge. Room is very basic, a bit small but clean. Staff are friendly and efficient. Bring your own toiletries since they only provide soap, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and cap. Nice view though.

Stayed in this place for 5 days in 9th floor. A lot of wonderful views of Sydney are seen from that room. Rooms are very small even shower. We kept tripping over our baggage in the room.
And not so great breakfast in the morning. It could have better if there were a little bigger rooms and shower. And a little tastier breakfast.
Thanks for having us in your hotel.

Sydney put on awesome weather (3 great days out of 4 - we were happy). Tourist attractions we visited were great and not overly crowded. Hotel is very nice, staff great, but our room was a disapointment. Paid an extra $60 for an upgrade (view - which was spectacular) but the room was so small we kept tripping over ourselves and our luggage. Could have a been a tad cleaner too. Overall our visit was a good one. So thanks for having us :-)

We recently stayed overnight at this hotel. On departure a bag was inadvertently left behind. We were unable to return to collect it. We corresponded with Ibis Assistant Managers who were very helpful and at our request removed contents that could be damaged in transit. Ibis management helped us to arrange Pack & Send to come in, repack the bag and courier it back to NZ. The bag arrived back to us, intact and contents undamaged. Well done Ibis Darling Harbour and many thanks. Lorelle Payne

I had a good time, enjoyed staying at the hotel. We were welcomed by a friendly staff member who had our forms out already then were given our key rooms. Room service was always excellent which staff had to be commended for.

I would like to suggest if info on telling people where to go for convenience as I just found one day later that the shopping centre was just across before going to the International Conference Centre.

The hotel staff was very helpful and I appreciated being able to check into my room early. The welcome was very nice. The room was small and I needed more space for my clothing. I found the bar and the restaurant was a good place to relax. The breakfast was very basic and could be improved with more options.

Room a bit small and showing some signs of age, wear & tear but generally OK. Offered a DH side view room for $20 at reception but would have preferred this at point of booking on the website. Had a group of young people returning to their rooms quite late who decided to hold a singalong in the hallway prior to separating. We didn't see this as an Ibis fault but did disrupt our sleeping for an hour or so.
Due to the central location did some sightseeing in the morning prior to departure which was pleasant & relaxing.

When faced with the decision of where to celebrate our Golden Wedding Anniversary our choice was obvious. Where else but the Ibis at Darling Harbour, where we have enjoyed many short breaks over too many years to remember . . Result - another great experience. Always a pleasure to meet the staff - behind the bar, in the dining room, the room service staff and the reception staff - whether people we haven't met before, like Bonny, or ones who seem to have been there forever, like Peter (sorry, Peter!). Yes, the rooms are small, but always clean and comfortable, with any minor faults dealt with quickly. Plenty of variety for breakfasts, and great value meals in the evening. Park securely underneath and forget the car. We miss the monorail, but our legs need the exercise! Darling Harbour a great location. Easy ferry access to the city and beyond. BUT made all the better by the IBIS EXPERIENCE. Thank you for another memorable stay.

It was OK kind of experience. The room was very small, thought it'll be little bigger to the amount I paid. Also there are NO charging points (at least would have kept extension box), need to use only one power socket so I need to swap my laptop charging with mobile and couldn't be able to use both at a time. Also room should have personal locker but it doesn't have. Few of the staff members are very polite and nice but I could see one more staff person (don't remember the name but he is short guy) was very rude in talking and he was talking like shouting on me every time I talk to him. May be it is normal talk to him but could have been more polite way to receive guests. Thanks.

Whilst the room itself was quite small, I could not fault the comfort of both the bedding and importantly the pillows.
Upon checking in the staff were very welcoming and this was consistent upon checkout.
We took advantage of the $15 breakfast offer, which went down very nicely indeed.
Overall pretty happy with the experience for the money spent

My girls and I stayed here for almost one week. We arrived early before check in and although no rooms were available the front desk offered to store our bags and call me as soon as one was. By noon we were comfortably settled in and enjoying a beverage overlooking the beautiful harbour. I payed extra for the hotel's breakfast which had a variety of choices that would impress all nationalities. It was delicious and very convenient especially traveling alone with children. View spectacular, clean simple rooms, location prime, and staff in my opinion exceptional. I will stay here again without a doubt. Thank you Ibis for making our "girls" trip memorable.

I was here on business and this hotel was recommended because it was close to my client. I stay in many hotels. This was the worst room that I have been given in any hotel across many different cities - small, no amenities whatsoever (not even a set of drawers), lousy food from room service. I told my client how terrible of a hotel it is, and would not recommend to anyone. The pricepoint is way out in terms of what you can get at comparable hotels in downtown Sydney. Yes, there was a view of the harbour but it certainly wasn't worth the pain of staying in that room.

The service was wonderful. Very professional and they seemed to quite genuinely love the hospitality. Reasonably priced considering it's on the harbour and Friday night's are boosted in cost. Very clean rooms with no damage and aircon is not obnoxious or obtrusive to relaxing environment
