Room was clean, comfy, and well furnished. The breakfast buffet was well made. Close distance to Sovereign Hill.

We stayed at the hotel for two nights. First night was above average, mainly due to the woman at reception (woman with long black hair, working around 6pm on 16th Oct). Me and my partner were quite disappointed, due to the fact that a lot of the amenities that we received the first night we did not receive the second. Eg, no fresh towels, bed was not remade, no coffee etc. I know these might only be small things, but if I am paying the same price for two nights, shouldn't I receive the same courtesies the following day. The carpet was not very clean and the shower was a bit dirty on the bottom of the door. We were not informed that the (king bed) was two beds pushed together which prevented me and my partner from getting a good night sleep. Would have been nice to have been told that there were going to be school tours very early to late (varying ages) two days in a row (walkway 1 metre from our window). Convenient parking space behind room. Hotel provides the option to buy tickets to sovereign Hill and use their door to access it. Overall, first night was good, but I do not believe I would recommend to others.

Room was bigger than expected after seeing some other reviews. Staff very friendly breakfast was tasty, had plenty to eat, although it served as individual plates.

Great rooms, and very friendly staff. As well as an ideal location next to Sovereign Hill. There was plenty of sleeping space for myself and 3 kids, with all beds being comfortable. They have great packages and can assist. Highly recommend.

Clean and convenient hotel to stay overnight at Sovereign Hill, especially after the evening show. The continental breakfast is a bit light but it's ok.

The kids just love going here. We spend the night in the hotel. Limited options for a family requiring to rooms. Especially if you don't want to go to bed at the same time as the kids.

Great place to stay. Convenient access to Sovereign Hill for the day to experience Ballarat during the gold rush. Also great to do the dinner and show "Blood on the Southern Cross" with direct access to the park. Rooms were nice, situated in appropriately designed buildings. Staff were helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend.

It was a good place to stay specially you're planning to spend more time to spend on hill for mine tour, "blood on southern cross" light and sound show and good museum. You get direct entry inside theme park. Rooms are good and comfortable. No bath, just shower.
