Was worried when we arrived at 12.30 and restaurant was mostly empty however Staff/service was great and my outback bbq parma was fantastic - really yum!

Great rooms. Have stayed here several times while on business trips to Ballarat. It’s the best place I’ve stayed in Ballarat too. If you are looking for somewhere to stay for work I can recommend Seymour’s.
The restaurant service and food is excellent. Above par for a pub food.

Attended a workplace Christmas dinner on a Friday afternoon. Very pleasant atmosphere in the balcony but was detracted by overly loud musician and crowds of people. Meals were serviceable but several were missing ingredients listed on the menu. Staff were actually the highlight, friendly, attentive.

The room:

The room I stayed in was modern and fresh. It was furnished with two queen beds, lounge, coffee table, dining table and sideboard. It also had a kitchenette that was reasonably well appointed. The bed was comfortable. The shower had plenty of pressure and plenty of hot water. The lack of shampoo and conditioner seems like an odd omission. Wifi is included with the room and while I didn't do any testing, it seemed to be quick enough. There is at least one ground-floor disabled-access room, while most of the rooms are on the second floor. The walkways to the rooms are timber and seem a little noisy - might be an issue if you happen to have people walking past late at night but this is a pretty trivial point.

The service:

Every interaction with the staff was pleasant, and in every instance they were cheerful and eager to please.

The food:

The room service menu is a bit limited for choice, but everything I ordered was enjoyable, well presented, and came very quickly.
