This apart hotel is in need of a revamp, it is getting tired, the rooms are reasonably comfortable but the kitchen area was dire, no overhead light for the work surfaces, only the room light which meant you were working in your shadow all the time, the hob was a disgrace, neither the extractor or the dishwasher worked. A word about the lift system, to go up to the guests floors you need your room key, the girl who showed us when we arrived got confused on how ti worked, it took me several failed attempts to get it to work, for any one staying at the Seasons Darling Harbour, here is how to oprate the lift, put your room key in the slot & then immediately take it out & press the floor button you require, you have to get the timing just right, too fast or too slow & you stay where you are. On the plus side the staff are very friendly & helpful, it is right next to China town & it's a short walk to Darling Harbour. I didn't fell the place warranted photographing so no photos.

I stayed at the Seasons Darling Harbour on 4 November 2017 and for a room that cost US315.89 (AUD 411.95) and was supposed to be a 4star hotel I was dissapointed to say the least. Upon checkin we were not advised of any of the facilities in the hotel, pool and gym etc. We checked in fairly late and were very tired so we did not make a complaint on the night, our room was dirty, our bed (mattress) was not comfortable and the lights in the bathroom only partially worked. The room had a view of a side street and was really noisey right up to 5.30am.
For a room costing $400 for the night it was totally unacceptable and I would not stay there (or any of the Seasons Group Hotels) again, I travel very frequently as I am retired and was bitterly dissatisfied with my stay.
I sincerely hope the management see this review and act accordingly to address the shortcomings of this hotel.response / report this review -

ok, i read the reviews and thought maybe everyone is being a little harsh so , I just checked out NOW 25/9/17 so this is an up to date review. RUBBISH is probably an understatement for this motel as its falling apart! everything in the hotel is old and dated and doesn't work!!!! air-con doesn't work and blows warm air! half the lights in the room don't work! hall way light fixtures falling apart and some hanging!! THE SMELL!!! OMG the smell is DISGUSTING, you cant get over the smell no matter what you try and the hotel just smells like old meat from surrounding restaurants. PS we booked this hotel on the 15/9/17 and were never told about the pool, we checked in on the 22/9/17 and still had no idea about the pool so i think that's pathetic that only now you put it on your web-sight. Also the fact that you have no parking and ask for $40 for parking per day is terrible!!

Quite large room. Very value for money. Staffs are great. Location is just perfect, right in the middle of everything.

In desperate need of maintenance and renovating. Room was clean but very run down. Good location as we were going to an event at the ICC. Wouldn't stay there again.

Don't get confused by its name It's not located exactly on darling harbour . Darling harbour is good 20 minutes walk from this place Average rooms and services .

الاثاث والفندق قديم ويحتاج الى تجديد لكن الموقع جيد جداً سعر الليله ١٥٠ دولار
Needs to renew the furniture and the bad thing I have not received the full amount of the money that they keep for insurance even though I have not used any thing from the room service. So far no refund has been made. Don't trust them when saying it will automatically go to your account.response / report this review -

Possibility the worst management of a Motel anywhere. We accidently booked the wrong date online , we noted it within 3 minutes and making the mistake, called the Motel was told no you have to make the changes through the company online that we booked with. so do that, only to find out that the motel had the finial decision. THEY refused to refund us, just a bunch or absolute RIPOFFS Bastards!!!! DONT BOOK OR STAY THERE

The room was disgusting, and we paid an extra $50 for an upgrade! Tape covering holes in the roof. Unfinished plaster patching. Something spilt over the wall and not cleaned properly. Mould around the aircon vents. Vanity cabintry was peeling away. We honestly felt like the place was filthy. Paid $270
The staff were coureteous and pleasant and understood when we informed them that we could not stay in that room for our honeymoon. They refunded the cash we paid for the upgrade. Our travel agents will have to organise a refund for us later through another provider.

Terrible room. Avoid this hotel.
Hotel description reads 'boutique hotel'. Could not be further from the truth
Firstly when we walked into the room we noticed how dirty and rippled the carpet was.
We opened the curtains & there were cigarette burns in them.
We went to look in the bedroom & there was a hole in the wall that had been fixed very badly with plaster that was not smoothed or cleaned up neatly.
The bath had a cake of soap left in it from the previous guests.
The pipes under the sink in the kitchen were held together by tape.
The stove top had two hot plates & only one knob. The place where the other knob was meant to be was just a hole.
The milk for coffee & tea was out of date.
We went to have showers before we went out for dinner & turned on the shower & the pipe that connects to the shower head was gushing out water & very little was coming out of the shower head.
On our way out to dinner we informed the man at reception & he was going to pop up & have a look.
Upon returning from dinner we asked if he had seen the problem & he told us there wasn't anything wrong with the shower. So we went back to the room & turned on the shower & actually videoed it & took it down to show him. He still didn't see the problem
We have lodged a complaint with the Seasons Hotel Group.
The only plus was the location and the convenience of the car park.response / report this review
