The hotel was clean and quiet. Their 24hr room service was awesome offering great choice of food. Close to my work and city.

The room was nice and spacious, the fridge was perhaps a bit on the small side but there was plenty of bench space. The morning paper wasn't in English, so if you want an English version you may have to specially request it, but the beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms were very clean. Very close to the casino and many food options, but they aren't open 24/7 like you would expect.

We stayed here last week and were quite surprised at how pleasant it was. We remember it being quite dated the last time we stayed - 6 years ago. the rooms(superior King) are spacious and have great technology. the TV enable streaming of your Netflix - however ours didn't work great. The service was attentive.
Downside:
1.There was construction work near the pool and spa so that wasn't enjoyable. This is only temporary, so call and ask before you book a room.
2. there isn't a restaurant attached and hence no buffet breakfast included - we opted for Sokyo breakfast, just a short walk from our room.

Decent size room, quality beds, modern bathrooms and good amenities. My biggest complaint was the illogically configured light switches - control panels by the bed and door turned on/off lights in combination (rather than individually), but none of the combination met our desired lighting. Separately, I mentioned that some of the power switches stopped working to a service person in the elevator, and it was fixed very quickly.

Highly recommended. Absolutely awesome room, on the 12th floor with views overlooking Pyrmont Bridge from the main rooms and views of Darling Harbour from the master bedroom balcony. Apartment was newly renovated and felt modern and luxurious. Staff were fantastic, they even surprised us with a complimentary bottle of wine and dessert on arrivala perfect start to our daughter's 21st surprise birthday weekend getaway.

Beautiful if you pay the extra for harbour views. Very modern and chic while all staff are extremely friendly. A bit on the pricey side which you'd expect staying at the casino, however we stayed for our anniversary so it was worth the extra money put into it. Would stay here again.

upon check-in, the lady at the front desk informed us that she had upgraded us to an apartment suite. extremely happy with the kindness and service, from both the reception staff, and the security. we had one noise complaint against us (sorry), to which the security personnel handled it with such professionalism. the matter was resolved immediately, without incident. and the 2 bedroom suite was amazing. thank you astral tower. i will be back

Had a great stay. Was a little confusing finding the lobby (there's a few hotels nearby, and construction barricades around) but staff were very helpful. The pool was great, with complimentary towels and a view of the city. Room was lovely and well maintained, though the automatic lights were a pain. Room service and minibar very expensive.

Great view from our room. Very comfortable but was only set up for 2 instead of 3 people in room as in small items like teacups. Terribly long wait at harvest buffet. Love the Star

Booked a week's stay to accommodate overseas visitors. Clean modern rooms with all the expected amenities of a Sydney hotel. Good value considering the excellent location, close to the casino, CBD, eateries, fish market etc.

Stayed at the hotel for a week and the room was clean and neat. Greatest thing was that the location is close to transport and shops. Amazing service from the concierge and valets! The pool, spa and sauna made the stay well worth it. Would stay again!
