  Had an unfortunate experience with rent a bomb. Hired a van which failed mechanically. We exercised what we thought to common sense with regards to the failure but they kept our bond of $300 with no recourse for appeal. Will now unfortunately need to take up with consumer affairs as they are not members of the AFIA Car Rental Code of Practice. Wouldn't use them again.

  Rippoff. Expensive cars that clearly aren't worth it and not roadworthy. Not everything works like aircon etc staff are uncooperative and unhelpful and rather gruff.

  Great staff good service had to hire a car for three months as mine was off the road waiting repair I was looked after with price and was given a good car to drive thank you rent a bomb

  Poor customer service
  Average price compared to others
  I got a car for 5 days and returned it on Friday, they gave me a different price on next Monday when I went back to rent the car for another 5 days!

  Closes at 3pm on sundays was going to be there by 2:50 too late to hire a car, but I guess thats how businesses run. Takes 20 mins to organize fair enough. Too bad none of the employees want to stay 10 minutes behind.

  These guys are great, they went out of their way to make sure everything ran smooth for us as we needed to hire a small car on and off for about 3 weeks while our car was being repaired, funny enough the driver of the other car that ran into us was also in a cheap hire car in dandenong.
