  Fantastic pub that is just a little bit away from most of the South Melbourne traffic. Really good menu with daily specials that are excellent value for money. Good selection of beers on tap and great wine list. Great atmosphere.

  Some tasty food options. Affordable menu with great weekly specials. Excellent spot on warmer days in the outdoor garden. Also has a fire and indoor pool table to enjoy when its a bit chilly

  Had a lovely meal on a Thursday night when nice and quiet. Large serves. I had the sweet potatoe fries - very good. And hot wings - blow your socks off spicy. Good range of beers on tap - I had a white Rabbit dark ale.

  Eat here 2 to 3 times a week.Porterhouse with pepper sauce chips and veg, occasionally parma ,sometimes fish and chips. Washed down with a few pints of bright ale.Consistently excellent food and service. I love this place.

  I'm a bit sad this place has changed hands, I used to frequent this place quite a bit for steak night. When it originally changed hands it went down a little, but then after 6 months or so had a bit of a resurgence. Unfortunately the last time we went there the quality of the steak had decreased and the price gone up! the service was polite, but a little business like and forced. A screwed up order and not much done about it and very little apology. It's a lovey pub and a great beer garden, and a great place to have a beer, but don't know if I'll be going back to eat anytime soon. :(

  Steak was cooked a perfect medium rare.
  
  The crust of the steak had a delicious chargrilled flavour and the garlic butter was the perfect accompaniment.
  
  The brisket was tender and smokey with a nice ratio of meat and fatty bits. However, it could of used a tad more sauce because the meat in the middle can get a little dry and stringy when the meat cools down.
  
  Service was attentive although you need to buy your drinks from the bar.
