Very nice cinema with friendly staff.
Palace Brighton Bay ensures a good old fashioned cinema “experience”. Good viewing variety, comfy chairs, cute pre-show area for drinks and snacks. Staff always friendly. Can be a bit of a wait to buy tickets so pre buy on line
Classy cinema. Certainly not bargain ticket prices though.
With my friends today at the Palace Brighton Bay to see A Quiet Passion. Great Movie. We all enjoyed it very much.
Had a private party with finger food supplied. I'm sure the food was mostly good however the waiters seemed to miss quite a few of us. Finally got a cold party pieand some chips. Nice pub though
Nice clean cinema. Often shows films that are less mainstream or under the radar. A couple of the screens are mediocre (long and thin, with a small screen) but the others are good sizes with mid-big screens.
Love the atmosphere in this cinema. Nice to have a glass of wine while watching a movie and nibble on some olive oil popcorn. Great movies for the French film festival.
A place to go when you want extra comfort, less people in the cinema and add on services like food, wine, information. I love this cinema. It's my choice for festival screenings
I loved the intimate feel, the friendly service
And location. It's fantastic to still have a local cinemas.
Palace Brighton Bay is a smallish and pleasant venue, with good selection of arthouse films, wide selection of cafe's and restaurants in nearby Bay Street, a walking distance from Brighton Beach and reasonably easy-to-find Street parking.
Best place to see art or esoteric movies in the area. Upmarket atmosphere with great cinemas and good service. There are also a good selection of mainstream movies, but probably not the place to see the latest Star Wars in 3D Dolby Atmos.
