  Friendly staff, for those who have dietary requirements this cafe is a very good option. The award winning “lemon meringue tart” was terrific.

  Checked online to see opening times, arrive to find everything locked up. Tried to call and got no answer. After 30 mins of waiting we messaged to be told that maybe the staff were running late to open. All of then? Very disappointing considering that finding a good gf kitchen is very hard!

  A wonderful family meal with our son who has to eat low FODMAP food. The duck and squid were particularly yummy, with a really friendly waitress. Easy to find and lots of parking

  Thank you very much Fox in the Box for an amazing lunch! My family & I enjoyed our meals! My daughter has CD & she loved that the whole menu she could choose anything from! Highly recommend!

  It's so amazing to have a meal that you don't have to think if it's going to affect you. A big plus was the meals are a great size and taste awesome. Make sure you get the lemon meringue for desert - it's epic! Thank you for creating something that Gluten, Dairy and Fodmapp people can love!!

  Severly pissed off. After deciding to try once again to eat at your cafe that has gluten free and vegetarian plus meat options, our elderly parents drove an hour to meet us there, and there was a sign on the door shut till January 25. Your website said 'open today'. Really poor business management. 2nd time this has happened to us. 😠

  We get to Fox in the Box infrequently, but when we do, it is hard to pass up their parma. Last night was no exception. The chicken parma was plump, juicy, and tender, and came served on a pile of crispy fries, with a small salad with the sweetest cherry tomatoes. We turned up quite late, and were served by the owner, Tim, who was friendly, and so knowledgeable about food intolerance and allergy issues. After my husband mentioned he couldn't have dairy, Tim immediately asked if he wanted lactose-free. The tea we had afterwards was served in breakfast cup sizes - extra large! Just what I needed after such a large and filling meal. Tim remembered to provide lactose-free milk with my husband's tea, too.
  
  I am always happy to return to Fox in the Box, and might have had slow service once or twice, but the quality and quantity of the food made up for it. And it is just so relaxing to be able to walk in, and place an order without worrying about FODMAPs or other intolerances.
  
  We will definitely be back again. And, despite all that is on offer, we will likely get the parma!
