Came here to splurge for a night out in Melbourne, visiting from Melbourne. Great service, delicious food. When we arrived without a booking at roughly 9:30pm we were informed there would be a 20 minute wait for a table and we could wait at the bar and enjoy a drink, which was great. 10 minutes later we got a table. My partner treated himself to the $70 Wagyu Rib-Eye 6+ MB- amazing steak!

I’m been here first time and it was very good memories for me and my boyfriend on his birthday. It was very good service and nice food. And they were lovely to give a dessert to my boyfriend for his birthday surprise.

We spend an awesome Friday night in this lovely place. Great food. great table seat an just awesome customer service! Our table host Daniel was very friendly and helpful. Looking forward to go back sooner rather than latter.

An epic kangaroo with rather uninspiring Merlot. However, the wine list is huge and in it many better wine options for sure.
Very reasonable prices considering food quality and location. Unsurprisingly tend to be full during dinner hours so reservation might be needed to get a seat.

Great dining experience, friendly staff even gifted us with a glass of bubbly each as it was our anniversary. Fantastic menu selection, the menu /stake selection is fantastic, the stake was cooked to perfection - med rare - Best meat cuts!

awesome selection of wines the ambience and the atmosphere upstairs was awesome. Would definitely revisit. Have already recommended to friends.

Food was food but be aware that you might need to pay extra $ with lunch deal. Ordered 4 x-press lunch $38 pp which includes wine or soft drinks, The waiter recommended light wine so we ordered that for adults and also ordered fanta for my kids. As we were leaving however, we had to pay for all drinks as they said those drinks were not included in the selected drinks of the deal. They should have explained it to us when i ordered.

Went here the other week and part way through my meal we noticed a lot of dust particles floating around. My food and wine had pieces falling on it. When I quizzed the waiter he moved us and they gave us new meals and wine. However at the new table still there was dust falling. When I asked the manager he informed me that it's not dust, it's actually lint from the napkins, when they fold the napkins put lint flys around. Apparently management are aware of this problem yet won't replace the napkins. The restaurant is dark so it's not noticeable unless you look into the light. There is lint dust literally flying all over this place and it ruined my meal and wine. We stopped eating and left. If you want to pay $200 to eat a napkin then this if your place!!

The atmosphere was ok, the food was over priced.but when you have astronomic rent to pay, plus bills and staff wages I guess it makes sense.
The saving grace was Kiel our server and Chad the man making the drinks, they made the night great. With staff members like those two working, I will come back again purely for the drinks and service. The drinks were made with passion by Chad (I work in a bar and I know a drink that's thrown together compared to a drink made with passion), and the smile on Kiels face was genuine, plus he was amazing in general. Keep those two for as long as you can guys, they make it a great place.

Eating here is always a good experience. The staff are helpful and can always recommend a good wine, and the food is great. The pork belly is amazing and the Portuguese Chicken skewer is a close second.

Went out for my birthday to Southbank meat and wine co the Food was amazing and the steak was cooked perfectly! The person who made the experience all the more amazing was our waiter for the evening (who's name I believe is Fletcher) Was an absolute gem ! Went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied with everything. With general conversation he found out that it was my birthday so he assured I received a lovely birthday message on my complimentary creme brûlée. Will be back for sure and I hope to be served by Fletcher again ! Thanks for the wonderful experience.

Lovely atmosphere, really beautiful food and drinks. It was a special wedding anniversary dinner and we both thoroughly enjoyed the steak, pork ribs and yummy sides we ordered. We had an 8:30pm dinner reservation and what started off as excellent service unfortunately dwindled as the night wore on - this is why I've given 4 stars and not 5. Still a delightful evening just a bit of a struggle to get our plates cleared and any other service past a certain point in the evening.
