Lovely location and decor. Unfortunately from the moment we walked in, sat down, ordered and ate our meals we were constantly warned that we could only have the table till 2pm. Our booking was for 12.30pm and we were not advised when the booking was made that there was a time limit! What was supposed to be a relaxing catch up with friends ended up as a very expensive meal on the run. Very disappointing!

If you like Balthazar in New York, you'll love Felix; Sydney's quintessential French bistro. The tiled floor, the bentwood chairs, the white table cloths, the attentive staff and the delicious food all combine to create one of Sydney's most atmospheric restaurants.

If it's a pleasant evening, try and grab an outdoor table on Ash Street for a prime people watching position.

Note - Felix is open for dinner seven nights, and lunch Mon-Sat.

We walked into Felix enroute to another restaurant but the scene looked very inviting - so glad we did. Excellent staff, delicious food, people-watching a buzz. Prices commensurate with others in Sydney CBD.

A fantastic experience but ultimately uninspired. The food quality was excellent, the service was impeccable but somehow nothing about the meal stood out. The entrees we're the highlight of the show. Steak tartare was creamy and will seasoned and the chicken liver pate was phenomenal. Mains selection was far less interesting with typical grill fare, executed with excellence. A lovely, pricey French bistro that does exactly what it says on the tin.

Go for the Gruyere Souffle and stay for the profiteroles. Staff were friendly and accommodating when we decided to change tables. Very well deserved 5 stars, we will be back.

Love their french onion soup. It's price range is $$$ so you should expect around $100 and above per head for 3 courses. It's good service, good food and good atmosphere.

A gorgeous French bistro in the heart of Sydney. The service was good and had a laugh often with us while we watched the Ivy crowd get started for the night.
The food was full of flavour but not over-the-top.
Good cocktails and wine list with advice from the sommelier helpful :)

Be transported to a French Bistro in New York. Superb in every aspect. Service authentic and friendly. Exquisite fit out with busy but unpretentious cool vibe. Comprehensive wine list with everything from Burgundy treats to Grange and Hill of Grace. Best of all THE FOOD is everything you could hope for. Faultless restaurant - perfect for all occasions - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

I'm not one to write reviews, but I had to this time. Had an absolutely amazing experience. Food was sensational- had the lamb shoulder and didn't even need a knife to cut it, it was so tender and perfectly cooked. My partner had the barramundi which was unbelievably tender, with crispy delicious skin on top.
The wine selection is unreal and the dessert. oh man, I could eat 20 profiteroles and it wouldn't be enough.
Service was outstanding, I had teased my partner that I'd eat 2 profiteroles and he would only get 1 (3 per serve) and ended up being given 4! Was such a pleasant surprise, and much appreciated.
Can't recommend enough, and cannot wait to come back

What's with all the 5 and 1 star reviews??? Clearly it can't be BOTH that good AND that bad!
People who have a great meal tend to put 5 stars and those who have an axe to grind or were put off by some little thing will put 1 star to punish a place.
Surely the truth is somewhere between and it is.
Nice friendly bistro atmosphere, food good, not great, a little pricey - nice wine list - yes I give it 3 stars.
