The service in this restaurant is impeccable! The waitresses and waiters are so attentive and friendly! The chicken was delicious and as a Scottish person I must say, the black pudding was better than I remember having at home!
I would have like the chicken portion to be larger or at least served with a side of some substance, as my friend had 2 starters which were larger than my main meal but half the price
There is an extensive cocktail menu and they are prepared to a high standard. I loved the coconut daiquiri 🥥

The views are lovely, particularly for sunset and I would recommend this restaurant for a nice dinner, for a birthday or slightly special occasion.

The food and location is amazing. I have been trying to unsuccesfully make a booking for a birthday party. The booking staff are most unhelpful, offer no solutions around their astonishing rules for bookings making it almost impossible to book a very simple function. It makes me not want to come back, even if the food is delicious

I have literally dined here 100’s of times as I adore this place so much! It’s my go to favourite place in Sydney! Literally never fails on food, drinks, service, ambience, location and fun!! The vibe is always fab! The staff are unfailingly professional amd lovely and the food is always consistently great! Going again next week (i dine here on average at least once a month) and we are all super excited for our family catch up! Hugo’s you only get better with age and experience!! 💚💙💛

Absolutely my favourite restaurant 😍. The staff are always gorgeous, friendly and helpful and the service and food are consistently excellent. The surprise complimentary scoop of 🍦 ice cream after lunch yesterday was a lovely touch. Thank you Hugos!! ❤️💫👌🏼

I’m trying to think of the appropriate way to say thank you to Hugo’s for providing such a fabulous experience with such consistency. The food, the staff, the quality that they continually provide to those of us who are lucky enough to be part of their offering is truly something to be thankful for. Our appreciation of Hugo’s at Manly cannot be understated. Our recommendation is for any and all to make a date to be there ASAP for the best there is in hospitality, service, food and friendly service.

Best prawn pizza I've had but wish there was more topping for $29 - hence the 4 star rating
But in saying that, highly recommend it 🤗

4got wat their other dishes tasted like as they weren't memorable made return visits just 4 the prawn pizza

Sensational dining experience in every aspect. Food absolutely amazing. Cocktails spectacular. Views absolutely amazing. Highly recommend.

Please not a complaint just constructive feedback for management.1. Service was great but perhaps waiter was too concencious visiting our table and removing plates no sooner we had finished. Felt very rushed. Also little disappointing that waiter ASKED if we wanted to leave a tip. Leaving a tip is a customers discretion and left a bitter taste to be honest when asked!!

Overall awesome dining experience.

The service here was average. The host was not the friendliest and it took a while for us to even get the attention of a server to order.The food was pretty good. I had a tuna with angel hair. I did not like that the tuna was dressed but that is likely just a perdonal preference. The pizza was a much better choice.

really nice pad. Sometimes a bit too busy but we can deal with that. I would have given it a 5 start had the prices been a little lower. Overall a great place for dinner.

Excellent Italian gourmet restaurant and pizzeria. It is located on the ferry pier and has a splendid view of the water.
There are many seafood specialties - everything we tried was very tasty. Service is fast and very good.
I recommend it.

There was a time where we couldn't get any wait staff's attention so we opted for the Manager's attention, because he was only a few metres away from us. However, Manager who displaces aloofness someone who is too good for 'Hugos' leaned towards the cashier desk for hours talking/laughing chose to look the other way to carry on talking when we waved at him. It was a very obvious moment.
He looks around and check on each person in each table, nevertheless, he just won't come over and fill-in for a quick wait staff's role or at least find someone to attend to our table promptly as possible, but instead made us wait as long as we can; he was disinterested in customer service, de-motivated, no interpersonal skills with no leadership thus no team-work.
Overall, everything took so long and we regretted that we had returned to Hugos.

The location of Hugos Manly is amazing. I had a pizza when I went and it tasted amazing. The flavour combinations are unique but delicious. Being on the harbour you get great sunset views and it tends to be more sheltered than the sea side. Was very busy when I went but there was lots of attentive staff so did not have to wait to be served. Went with a friend and girlfriend and we all enjoyed our meals. Many of our friends recommended Hugos Manly and I would also.

Best dining location in Manly in my opinion. Sunset views are amazing. I've eaten there for years and never had a bad meal. Food is excellent but pricey and their pizzas are top notch (they won best pizza in Australia in the past). Recommend the Spanner crab linguine, Angel hair pasta, or prawn pizza.

Our Saturday late lunch with our overseas visitors was not as nice as we hoped when our visitor and myself were showered with wine. The waitress lost her balance and dropped two glasses of wine spilling it on us.
Our visitors first restaurant meal in Sydney was otherwise nice and the staff helping to dry our visitors and my wine soaked clothes and clean the broken glass could not have been more attentive but we were hoping to get some kind of compensation for having to wear wine soaked and smelly clothes for the rest of the day. Luckily it was white wine and not red wine, because we then would have at least expected to get our dry cleaning bill paid for.
We had raved about this place to our visiting friends so this incident put a bit of a damper on the day. We both were very conscious of our clothes smelling of wine all day.
I would like to give some friendly advice. In the future please offer your dining guests some sort of compensation for the damage done on their dining experience. A bottle of wine for the table, discount on their bill, pay for their dry cleaning bill or something similar to make the experience positive and more memorable instead of them remembering it was that restaurant were we got soaked with wine.
