It has a nice atmosphere and the staff were friendly and helpful in the bistro area. The salad that came with my parma was very dry without any dressing, but other than that the food was also really good, with a very generous serving size

Excellent upmarket pub with some of the best food in all of Queanbeyan served in in large pub-sized portions, a good range of beers, and an extensive cocktail menu.
There's lots of seating inside, and even a tiny beer garden; and some outdoor seating on the street. There's a room at the back for parties or private functions, and efficient staff.response / report this review -

This place is packed for a reason. Food is fantastic and plenty of staff with good attitude.
The lamb shanks are up there with the best I have ever had.
Good selection of cocktails and wines.

The drinks are strong enough to be worth the price. The food is fantastic and definitely deserves a try. 10/10 would drink again.

Great location and atmosphere but grumpy staff sometimes and the prices are high. I think they want to be exclusive or something. Oh and good range of drinks.

Food is always great, though the nachos are a little dry and need some more salsa or something to complement it, guacamole even as a paid extra would be great to see ad a menu option as well.

The most solid pub meal offering in Canberra. Burgers are always excellent and the chicken burger today absolutely knocked my socks off.

I usually order a steak, always cooked to perfection. Last night I ordered the Braised Lamb Leg sliders; disappointed, buns cold and dry, baby rocket leaf wilted, very little lamb in bun and the minted tzatzki yoghurt really didn't complement the taste, don't recall tasting the smoky eggplant caviar. A bit over priced for $18.00. I passed my review on to the waiter. Happy to go back and have it again if my review is taken seriously and there is a change to the preparation of the sliders.

Cheap room and the pub food was OK, if a little pricey. Room is very basic but no electric blankets on the beds. This, on a day where it snowed, was not acceptable.

We had a very enjoyable Sunday lunch here today. The staff were friendly and the food was amazing. All three of us were licking our lips after we'd finished. The hotel was nicely set out and looked like something you'd find in Sydney, but without the noise and crowds. Very pleased and we'll be back for sure.

Nice venue, quick service, food arrived promptly but bad attitude to vegetarians in the menu. I'm all for taking the p!$$ but at least charge a reasonable price for a p!$$ take. Don't charge $17 for some measly veg burger and a huge stack of chips.
