Terrible,

Shopped here twice.

First time ordered suckling pig with 3 months notice. Turned up to pick up for Christmas and despite 3 month pre-order was presented with frozen suckling pig wrapped in ripped black garbage plastic with freezer burns all over it.

2nd time was a counter order for premium Wagyu for shabu-shaubu. Out in the floor, was told it could be cut to any specification. Once approaching the counter, one of the butchers gave me the option that it could be frozen for ultra thin with a 3 hour pick up PLUS COSTS FOR FREEZING or he could do it "at thin as possible" with a normal knife on the spot; opted for the latter. Was presented with 3 bits of steak of about a 1/3rd of an inch thick which was pathetic. Then got complained at over the counter by one of the more senior staff that he couldn't sell it anymore because it was cut too thin and ruinedbought it to diffuse the situation but will NEVER shop her again..

Woops, computer errors galore! Better finish before it happens again, so will simply say that after 30 years, I've never been disappointed, and rate everything offered by Mondo's 5 star.

[Thank heavens for Edit!] What I had said above before my computer escaped me -- I admit I may have escaped it myself -- was I have been enjoying and appreciating Mondo's fine meats and services (and originally organic produce as well when at Midland) for 30 years now.

Once again, at 2016, bless you Vince and family - see you next year for our annual Christmas pick up. Cheers!

Best Butchers in perth. on weekends they have two organic farmer guys selling home produce out front. sometimes they also have a band playing out back with coffee and breads and produce on sale. sometimes vince holds cooking classes also. great service. good prices.

Mondo Butchers owned by the Garreffa clan with Vince at the helm, meats some of the best in Perth, you pay for it buy it is the best, catering, Vince is trusted to look after some of the biggest catering events in Perth, charities are very big on the Mondo plate, radio, TV Vince is there

My only problem there is what not to buy. They have a large range of game and smoked/dried meats. I particularly like the spatch-cock and pigeon. Veal is excellent. I was planning to seek asylum there until Abbott got the chopper.
