  It was a while ago but only realised i could give feedback
  I hired a car and whilst in my care sustained a small dent to the plastic rear bumper bar. On returning the car my credit card was debited $3000 to cover the charge. I was i with this cause I knew that was the case. What I wasn't happy about was the car continued to be hired out while budget held my $3000 for four weeks without havering the damage assessed. Eventually after lots of phone calls and feelings of shock the damage was assessed at $80 and I got my money back after about five weeks. Unethical, unprofessional and completely lacking in all ethics. Do not use this company in Cairns

  Avoid at all costs. Scam artists. Go with Europcar or any other rental agency. They will charge you for damage you did not do.

  Will never use them again. They gave us a car with a small chip in the windscreen underneath the wipers so pretty much unnoticeable so we didn't see it when we picked up the car. The chip ended up getting bigger and bigger while we had the car and they charged us $600 for a new windscreen - just charged our credit card without letting us know

  Never using you guys again. Had a truck booked in for a job in Cooktown, went to pick up the truck and was told I didnt make a booking. I had a reference number and that didn't seem to matter. Wasn't even given an apology for the mistake. The girl at the desk simply shrugged her shoulders and told me to go to another company. What a joke you guys are!

  Overall a good experience. We had booked a chrysler but upon arrival they didn't have it so we were given a Holden caprice which was ok and can't really say much as on booking it says it could be something similar to the Chrysler level if it's not available. At the airport there was a lovely staff member who assisted us with marking any scratches and dents on the car so that we don't get blamed when dropping off the car back to the airport. He checked and made sure everything was marked before we drove off so that it doesn't come back to us if we had made those scratches/dents. Also our car was nice and clean inside.

  Pick up was fine. We chose a hybrid as petrol is expensive in the area. Check if you are covered some other way against the $2300 excess otherwise it can cost as much as the car daily rental.
  For drop off check the airport map to find where to drop off. The rental companies don't seem to worry where you put your car.
