We hired a 2 berth campervan for 6 weeks travelling from Sydney to Cairns. We were disappointed to be taken out to the WORST conditioned van in the lotbig bashes all over exterior, terrible quality interior only to be told it is one of their oldest vans and just hadnt had a chance to go to the bodyshop and get repairedwell do not give it to people travelling for such a long period. On our travels we met people with much better quality vans which os just annoying knowing we spent the same amount of money on a piece of junk. Mechanically it ran fine, we had no issues with the running of the van but the windows leaked when it rained and water came in at our feet when driving. Overall we are very disappointed with the experience and the response we recieved when picking up the van and giving our concerns about the condition as we have saved so much of our travel money to rent it for such a long period of time and feel like we did not get value for money at all. Will not be recommending.

We were visiting several Campervan Rentals in Cairns but did not found a great deal. Than we went to Travellers autobarn. They were by way the friendliest and most professional compared to the others. We were advised very carefully, every questen had been answered and moreover they gave us very good hints for our journey. We ended up with a great deal: a very big campervan for a very cheap price. We are so happy and look Forward to our adventure! We think Travellers autobarn is the best Car & Campervan in town! You should defenitely pay them a visit!

Convenient location in Cairns for pick up. The staff were fantastic. Super organised and the early check in provides a quick and easy collection.
The detailed travel packs and the app is really helpful.

Really good service from the team In cairns - we are currently half way through our trip and are enjoying every minute in the camper. Nice to be given an upgrade on arrival after a long flight from the uk. Would definitely recommend and would use you guys again if we ever came back!

We bought our lovely Campervan in Cairns and are so happy with our desicion. Whenever there was a problem, we could call the manager Stephan and he helped us. Even when he was not in the office he answered phonecalls and emails. Even if the car wasn't cheap it was totaly worth it! And after our journey was over he helped us with all the paperwork to sell the car again, we ran 6 times in the office and he still had and ear open. :Dresponse / report this review -

We bought a 2003 Commodore Wagon from Travellers Autobarn in Cairns in Aug 2016. It was a pleasure dealing with the staff of TAB Cairns, particularly Tanya King.
We walked in one day, saw the Commodore, bought it, and came back two days later to drive home the car already registered to our names, including 12-month AWN and roadside assistance. At 200km on the odo (low for a Commodore), and the absolutely excellent service we received from Tanya and the team, we were happy to pay ~AU$5K. They also included basic camping gear for two people. For free! Not to mention, TAB offers buyback on the car. What a deal.
If you're looking to rent a campervan or buy a quality Commodore/ Falcon, you can't go wrong doing business with Travellers Autobarn. Excellent excellent service. Not a single bad thing to say about this place.response / report this review -

Fantastic staff and service from the Cairns team at Travelers Autobarn.
My family and I had a pretty big problem when our vehicle was found to be missing the child restraint anchor points. The staff were fantastic and called all the wreckers in the city to locate the missing anchors. Great!response / report this review -

Been doing business with this company many times. Stephan and his Team are very polite, friendly , very efficient and service is excellent. They always try their very best to resolve any unforseen circumstances. Personally I give these guys 6 stars. They have a great convenient location and many types of cars to choose from. Pick up and drop of to most places in the big Island of Australia
