  Dont even try these people they tell you one thing then change their minds without even calling. I would imagine if you book they would find away to screw you over.

  Very friendly, we found cars very clean and very good hire price. We found the owner helpful with directions and advice, saved a lot of money renting the car apposed to paying for trips individually! Would highly recommend and will use again if back in the area.

  In response to Vadim Atlygin comment. Just because you chose to cancel your booking because your son did not want to go, then how can you blame this on the Car Rental Company. If you book a seat on an airline and your son decides he doesn't want to go they don't refund your money. I think this is an unwanted review that you have given. Maybe you should rule the family not your son. I have rented from this company many times and have only ever found them to be professional.

  We booked a car with A1 and experience wasn't particularly great. We were looking for a car and all major rental places were fully booked so we walked in into A1. Even though the price was higher then expected, we had no choice but to try renting a car there.
  We were told that there's no way to return a car after 5pm (a lie it turned out) and we have to pick the car up in the following morning if we don't want to pay for an extra day (we were planning to return after 5pm on the last day). So we booked it but overnight our son refused to go anywhere.
  We've tried to cancel our booking but apparently there's no refund whatsoever. It was possible to change the dates but when we asked whether we can just pay for one day, the answer was no. So we ended up not using the car (and insurance that comes with it) but still paying the full price. This hasn't been told to us explicitly when we were making a booking. If we knew, we probably would not book it in the first place.

  I decided to rent a car to drive out to see the waterfalls, and had the best experience with A1 Car Rentals.
  I surprised my teenage daughter with a lovely convertable Holden Astra which was so much fun!
  Rosa (the lady whom I booked the car with) was o lovely and helpful, and even gave me a map with directions on how to get to some of the most beautiful areas in Cairns.
  All in all a great experience! Highly recommend! ☺
