For cost 5 stars
All I wanted, I didn't feel like I was paying for extra's I didn't need.
Service 5 stars
Felt welcome, and the place was clean and in good order.
Location 4 stars
Not far out of town
Room 3.8 stars
You get what you pay for in some regards. No wifi, and everything was a little worn.
Bed was firm, but I am a back sleeper, so that was ok.
Ac fan bearing, worn but working.
On sweet needing perhaps some work, but not unpleasent.
All in all I give them 5 stars. Perhaps not because they have the best of the best, but value for money. I don't normal tip, but I regret not tipping
Great peaceful location
Nice friendly people
For the price, not bad.
The room smelt of cleaning products, for hours, even with the windows open.
People were extremely loud at 2.20am, woke us up.
The reception lady was very rude, abrupt and needed to pull her pants up (litterally).
Two suggestions-
1) If the staff wore a uniform, it would be easier to identify them when needing assistance.
2) More signage would be helpful.
Thanks for the stay! :)
Good value meals and nice surrounds
Small but friendly atmosphere.
For the cost involved with staying at the bendigo bush cabins it was really great value, the recently appointed caretaker was an absolute pleasure to deal with and the pub that is on site "the bush pig inn" was a nice rustic pub that was great for a meal or drink and a game of darts.Haveing children there was also the conveniance of haveing a water slide and childrens pool with free access for those staying in the cabbins, all in all a great little economical place to get away for weekend without blowing the family budget.
