I've now used Dave and team more than 5 times, including personal trips down the Yarra, giant groups, and even a corporate tour. The service is always exceptional, they make you feel comfortable and it's always a great time. I couldn't recommend them enough!

We enjoyed a terrific half day on the Yarra and will definitely be back another time. It was easy to arrange the hire and we had great help from Dave to launch the kayak and head off. For a couple of novices, it was a relaxed way to see this part of Melbourne. The next time we have visitors from overseas, we'll be bringing them here for something completely different. Well worth a visit.

Sea Kayak Australia are fabulous and I had a fantastic time doing the 2 day kayaking course for beginners. Dane and Sarah were our trainers and we were a small group of not more than 5 people per trainer. Dane and Sarah were very friendly, knowledgeable and keen to help us develop our sea kayaking skills. I feel much more capable and confident in the water now and I highly recommend Sea Kayak Australia for all your kayaking needs. I will definitely be doing more courses through them in the future and will look at signing up for their tours as well. Thanks very much for a great experience and I look forward to seeing you again.

Really friendly owners :) chill blokes all around don't mind you using their personal facilities

As we were first time kayakers one dude taught us in the absolutely beginner-friendliest way possible, would recommend!

vessels seemed well looked after (clean, maintained etc)

The Yarra was also really nice

Myself and other 20 of my friends kayaked yesterday with Sea Kayak Australia. It was a glorious day and we started from abbotsford and finished up on princes bridge. The weather could not be better and you cannot tell you are kayaking in the city at all (with marvellous scene in Abbotsford). Owner Dave and his mates prepped us up thoroughly and arranged pick-up service which is absolutely brilliant. Definitely an unique experience of the yarra river that I recommend any visitors or people who haven't done it to kayak away!
