Went for the Great Ocean Road tour with Go West Tours last May 23,2022 and didn’t regret it! Chris our tour guide was very energetic for the “WHOLE TRIP”! He was very knowledgeable about the places and history of the Great Ocean Road. You can clearly see how he’s passionate on what he’s doing. Seeing and appreciating the beautiful and amazing view of the Great Ocean Road with Chris telling the history and story behind it was exceptional! Feels like it brings you back in time in by your imagination. Great friendly staff as well as our driver Ben which I think is a tour guide as well.

I highly recommend Go West Tours when you are planning to see the Great Ocean Road as you’ll have an amazing experience like we had.

Experienced the Great Ocean Tour on the 6th of June, thoroughly enjoyed myself and had a lovely time. Our tour guide Mr Graeme was extremely engaging and brought us through all of the tour sites. It was a really enjoyable day. The day started at 730AM and it took a little while to pick up all the people in our tour before we started the journey. Our guide, Chris H., was very experienced and friendly. The itinerary was very well-planned and the sights were amazing. Coupled with Chris' storytelling along the way/at lookout points, it was really entertaining and insightful. We signed up with the expectations to view the 12 Apostles on our holiday but we received so much more, including knowing more about the history of Great Ocean Road. The only rush was dinner time, which is understandable because the priority was to visit all the promised destinations, and also to send us back to our accommodations safely and punctually. I really recommend this tour to those that are interested in visiting the Great Ocean Road!

What an amazing adventure on the Great Ocean Road! Yes, it is a long day but that is what you are signing up for. Our guide Dave, was just the right bit of local knowledge, humor, botanist, animal expert, and historian. I enjoyed all the stops along the way as you build towards the grand finale of the Shipwreck Coast. The rain forest was a nice surprise on the way and felt we had more than enought time at each spot. Dave, thanks again for leading the tour. BTW, nice song selection on the way but maybe add in some AC/DC next time for us Americans who like to rock!

Bill was an exceptional tour guide who is very knowledgeable about Melbourne and the surrounding areas, as well as a few interesting facts about his time overseas.

The tour itself was very good, it takes you to a variety or popular locations, a good amount of photo opportunities (which Bill was very happy to take couple photos).

My only critique is that during the colder months, there becomes not much time for dinner prior to the penguins arrival as it's very busy and lines get long. The day did feel a bit rushed, leaving not too much time to spend at each destination.

I would suggest during these times that the tour leave an hour or so early to accommodate these, as it is a big day and I got quite hungry. So to anyone deciding, I recommend bringing along some muesli bars or some sandwiches.

All in all, a very good experience with GoWest tours and I would travel with them again.

We wish to send a compliment to one of your guides who provided an excellent experience for us. We went for the Great Ocean Road Small-Group Eco-Tour on 10 November 2017 under your guide Phil.

My wife and I are on our honeymoon trip and Phil has indeed provided a memorable experience for us during the trip. The small little things he did such as congratulating us as well as dedicating a song for us does warm our heart. At the end of the day after dropping us at our hotel, he even went the extra mile to come down from the mini bus and sent us off.

This trip would indeed not be as memorable and heart-warming if he did not go the extra miles in his service delivery! Thank you so much!

The tour was amazing! We enjoyed a perfect selection of food and wineries, generous tastings, thoughtful product presentation in the shops we visited, beautiful landscapes and an extremely entertaining and knowledgeable driver - Alex was great fun and provided for a great atmosphere!

We did the Great Ocean Road Trip. There's a small bus so a nice small group. We were picked up from our hotel and dropped off there at the end of the day.
The whole day was amazing. There were lots of stops to see different parts of the road. The views of the Ocean were beautiful. (I won't spoil it by telling you all about them)
Our guide was Leah, who was wonderful - so friendly, helpful and patient. She told lots about the road and the area - great knowledge and great delivery made it so interesting. If you get her as your guide you will have a fantastic time.
I would definitely recommend this trip to anyone. Make sure you have a camera!

We had Cath as our tour guide. She was friendly, knowledgable, new everyone by name, and just lots of fun to be around. I did my tour for great ocean road were I got to see koalas, a rainforest, the 12 apostles and the surrounding area. It was such a great experience.

My husband Mike and I celebrated our 25th anniversary and had Tim as our guide on 2 tours. He was fabulous and was very knowledgable and very entertaining !! We had a blast with Tim. He was fantastic.

Best tour to the Great Ocean Road. Our driver and tour guide, Cath, was kind, energetic, knowledgeable, funny, and entertaining! She'd help you take pictures, drop you off at your hotel, and make sure everyone comfortable! We had a wonderful time! She is the best tour guide we've ever had. If you go to Melbourne, go with "Go West". In fact, we had two tours with Go West, both were excellent! They are very well organized and responsive. We had a memorable experience!

On Tuesday 11/1/16 I did the great ocean road day tour with Go West. Cath was our guide and she totally ROCKED IT!!! she was fun, spirited, helpful, and just made this long incredible journey truly unique. The bus was packed, and I wished I was able to sit on the left hand side to see the beauty of the coastline, but other than that, we had a ton of stops to take pictures, use the bathroom, eat, and get to see some fun stuff like koalas. Tours are pretty cool, but a guide really makes the experience for you. Cath's knowledge and fun spirit made this trip unforgettable. I would totally recommend you guys to anyone traveling to OZ!! Great tour at a reasonable price for a whole day of experiences!

I'm working in Sydney for the summer and knew long before I came I wanted to see Melbourne, through a friends recommendation I chose to do the Great Ocean Road tour with Go West Tours and it was by far my most memorable experience in Melbourne! In most part due to our amazing tour guide, Phil!
He was very entertaining and informative; it was obvious he not only knew a great deal about the history and culture of the areas we visited, but also that he was truly passionate about his job and country/city.
Although it is a day long tour, and a bit exhausting by the end, it was definitely worth the money and time. I recommend this to anyone looking for great scenic views of Australia, it was a blast!

We took the tour to Philip island to see the march of penguins - it was amazing. The tour stopped at the koala sanctuary where we got to feed kangaroo and wallaby ($2 extra) and hold a koala ($15 extra). We also stopped at a great winery on the island for a free wine and cheese tasting. The tour guide was great, very knowledgeable and never pushed us to spend more money on wine or for upgrades.

The march of penguins was incredible. Make sure you stand in the back and once it starts run over to the premium seat area to watch all the penguins walk by. You could also pay the extra $25 to sit up front and watch the penguins walk right by you. This upgrade money goes to the penguins sanctuary so it is for a good cause.
