Walk to lake in the early morning. You will see fantastic view. There is some small café around. I like 434.
Function room was way too hot. Inadequate air conditioning meant everyone was a hot mess by the end of the night (it was a sit down dinner). Food was okay, but guests reported the steak was tough because it was very overcooked. My fish was perfect and the desserts were lovely. Wait staff did not seem very experienced. Also our round table, seating 10, had a gap in the middle, which meant when someone put their glass down on it's edge it fell over and spilled.
Room was tiny with no view. Facilities are set up on a ridiculous manner. You have to go to the 7th floor for the sauna and then back down to the ground level for the pool to cool off. The limited menu of regular food is disappointing. The food we did order was absolutely terrible and was not cooked correctly. The buffet breakfast is full off food that has sat there sweating of dried out and tssted so disgusting we had to resort to eating toast which we paid $50 for. Overall the place is a 1 out of 5. Would never come back again
Disappointed! Basic customer service. When I arrived at the hotel just after midnight on a Saturday night after driving from an event, I discovered the bar was closed. I was looking forward to having a drink and heading up to my room to relax. It was a long day! I was told at reception that only food service was provided for in room dining but not alcohol. I mean REALLY?
Always a pleasure delivering electrical goods to the maintenance crew. Awesome blokes.
Friendly, helpful and fast service at counter, clean and spacious room/bathroom, pleasant restaurant/bar downstairs as well.
The Bayview Eden was lovely, the rooms looks clean and tidy and entertainment is everywhere! It's also in the middle of Melbourne which is good!
Was here for a conference. Good location. Everything organised well. Staff were helpful
Since opening a Thai restaurant on the St Kilda junction 7 months ago l have done a few food deliveries to this place &, although l like the set up & am impressed with the very friendly, helpful staff, it's the passageways as l walk from the elevator to the customers room, that l really admire. I'm not sure if it's the colour, the layout, the size, the lighting, a combination of some of these things, or maybe it's the complete package of all these things. So, as my mother lives a couple of hours away from Melbourne, l decided to pay for a Premium King Size room at the Bayview Eden as that would be an ideal special place to stay on the Saturday night before Mothers Day, & then make the short trip to attend the Mother's Day function that my wife & l we're hosting the next day at our restaurant. With at least 5 other places that are closer to the restaurant, including 2 that are directly across the road, l knew the Bayview Eden was the perfect choice because that was how my mother summed up her time there. Nb I delivered an order to this place about 5 days ago. As & l went to the reception desk & l informed the lady behind the counter that l had some Thai food for delivery &, before l even had the chance to read out the name & room no. from the delivery docket, she said "For me? That's very nice of you. Thank you". NO, THANK YOU FOR BEING SO QUICK WITH YOUR AWESOME COMMENT, IT WAS GOLD 😀
Close proximity to city, golf course, restaurants, and park/lake at a reasonable price.
I deliver here from time to time & always find the staff to be extremely helpful and polite, will go out of their way for you.
Friendly and clean, great restaurant and location was perfect for us, dropping a star for mattress on bed, although may be fine for some people.
