Our stay here for 2 weeks was comfortable and warm. Cooking in the kitchen was fun with a good variety of utensils for our use. The bathroom had a solid shower. Cleaning up service was excellent as well.
Had to call in help with the wifi for the first to nights and as well as help in adjusting the air conditioning/heater as well as help in operating the dishwasher..but customer service was excellent and we even received a personal note from the manager apologising for the defects in facilities. Soaking in the spa/jacuzzi at the end of the day was the cherry on top of a fruitful day out from sightseeing- try it!
Location was central and the streets outside was bustling with food and (bonus!) right opposite the theatre where we watched My Fair Lady!!response / report this review -

Modern hotel in a central location and close to public transport. Handy having access to kitchen and laundry facilities in the apartments. The pool and gym were both modern.

Room is excellent. Many items in the room are labelled as 'upon request'. And when requested, takes too long to be delivered. This needs to be improved. Location is walking distance to many places like paddy's market, town hall square, etc. Of course Meriton has 3 other blocks of suite which offer greater convenience to the same places of interest.

Had a great experience with Meriton Suites in Campbell street. After informing them it was my birthday, they provided us with a free room upgrade, balloon and birthday card which was very thoughtful! Great bed, balcony and bathroom - highly recommend for their service and quality stay.

When we arrived at the hotel, they told us they did not have our reservation while we had the confirmation number from their reservation system. Receptionist told us there was some rooms available but wanted to charge the double of the price we initially reserved. We called the travel agency assistance for support but even with the travel agency the hotel did not make any effort to resolve the issue. We had to find another solution in urgency!
I would advise you to go to the Novotel, it's 5min walk from here and staff is much more friendly and taking care of their customers.response / report this review -

What a great "hotel". Reece at the front desk and the Manager Alex were very nice at check-in. Check in was fast. Note that there is a 1% fee to pay with a credit card from another country. Reece provided us with a lot of information. The room we got was large with a kitchenette and washer dryer unit to wash clothes. The ceilings were at least 10 feet high which made the room feel larger. Viewed the pool, sauna, whirlpool, and fitness center area which was nice. Not too big but not too small. Location is great. Close to trains and light rail. Walking to places is great too. Lots of food options around. Enjoyed this place, will consider staying here again on my next trip to sydney.

Amenities: kitchenette, wifi, laundry in the apartment, cafe machine, pools, gym , sauna , spa pool.
Sound rating : 2 out of 5 there is a noticeable gap on the entrance for frame and the door. You can clearly hear purple talking outside. We were quite lucky we had light foot traffic during our stay.
Bathroom : nice and spacious. Water pressure medium. Could probably change the shower head with a bigger one.
Air conditioning : rattling during operation
Location : excellent to capitol theatre, China town and Thai town. Less than 5 minutes walk to tram stop outside capitol square.response / report this review -

Modern, spacious apartments right in the heart of the china town precinct. Great staff who are always welcoming and accommodating. I stay there regularly for work and will continue to do so. Look forward to my next visit in a few weeks.

Very good location for food. Supermarket is one block away. I like serviced apartment for business stay more than a hotel as I can get a bigger room at a lower price and kitchen is easier if you want to cook.

Very modern spacious room with well equipped kitchenette. Comfortable beds serviced daily. Well insulated from city noise and good block out curtains if you want to sleep in.
Staff were extremely friendly and helpful.
Definitely better value for money than other similar priced rooms in Sydney.
Hard to fault. I'll be back

Perfect location, right in the city across from Capitol Theatre and lots of food options close by. Swimming pool and gym are tops if you need to get a bit of your normal routine in. Room not made up until 5pm after we called and asked to have it made up, mostly because we needed fresh towels because the shower water goes everywhere. Was a little annoying. Room had an awful smell, like dirty dishes yet we couldn't find any reason for the smell.

Location was excellent, right across the street from the Capitol Theatre. Room was fantastic, plenty of room for a studio suite. Staff at reception was very friendly and conversed with us for a bit about the play we were going to see at the Theatre. All around enjoyable experience.

AMAZING!
Thank You, Meriton Campbell Street for making our stay so enjoyable!
The carpet was very clean, room was spectacular. Well located near Chinatown. Millions of places to eat! The pool and amenities were very tidy and clean.
**WARNING**
The Meriton Campbell Street DO NOT have any parking, however, the is parking across the road at the Capitol theatre (Always full) or you can walk 400 meters to Meriton Serviced Apartments Kent Street.

Second time in Sydney and regret I did not choose Meriton the first.
Location is simply perfect, close to almost every attraction in the city and just off George st, you can easily take a nice walk to Darling Harbour or the Rocks or catch a ride. Paddy's Market is just across the street.
Reception staff was kind and provided all information I asked for. The room was spacious, clean and well equipped, plus the bed was very comfortable.
Definitely will be my choice next time in Sydney.
