Lovely little place to escape to. Owner was friendly and polite, and was easy to talk to during our stay. Stayed in the Coorabell Retreat and it was clean and well presented. Spa bath and log fire were fantastic, and the complimentary breakfast items provided were great.

The cottage I stayed in was adorable. I felt at ease from the moment I stepped through the front door, greeted by candles, music playing and a clean room They provided everything that I needed for breakfast which I enjoyed cooking in the morning before checking out.

Beautiful historic,cosy old building!Large romantic place!Beautiful views of garden out the bedroom window!Warm fireplace and comfortable bedroom!Bathroom has spa!Seperate kitchen and dining area.2 minutes walk to sky high!Magnificent old building with cathedral ceilings and original old look!Would definately recommend its worth the stay!And will b returning!Cherie and Josh

Very relaxing overnight stay! Beautiful accommodation with all the amenities one needs! Very lovely staff who make you feel very relaxed! The surroundings are just gorgeous, the perfect winter getaway!

Beautiful little spot for quiet and relaxing rest on top of Mt Dandenong. Simple breakfast, toiletteries, DVD included in the room.

We stayed in the Coorabell Retreat. Very relaxing and secluded by large mana gums and other trees and ferns. A full and stocked kitchen provided us with everything we needed for breakfast. A luxurious king bed with AC unit to keep us cool (we stayed there on a 40+ deg day). Very large spa and spacious bathroom, and excellent, accommodating customer service with very easy to contact emergency numbers. 5 stars!

It was a nice place to stay but our spa did not work and it looked very worn, and as we didn’t realise until late in the night we didn’t want to bother anyone with it that late, we made the cleaner aware upon checkout and left our contact number and we were contacted by the owner and he said he went in and it was working, and he didn’t even seem to offer a genuine apology so we were very disappointed about that so we wont be visiting there again and have not been recommending it to friends and family. Also the cabin above us must have had floor boards so we were woken very early to the stomping and the running shower above us
