This is a very minimalistic motel. Visitors are given an option to highly rate the motel to receive a free breakfast; high ratings are to be taken with great consideration.
Bathroom is rarely cleaned. Towels were replaced every day. Beds were made on most days.
    Free public parking available nearby.

After reading the reviews from the hotel I was quite nervous because it seemed like it would be so bad, but it was a very nice. Friendly staff, delicious restaurant (Harry’s grill I believe it’s called) and clean room. Perfect for a few nights stay. I would reccomened taking the shuttle to/from the airport because it is much cheaper then a taxi (only $8 for a shuttle). I enjoyed my stay very much!

If you're looking at staying here, you've searched for somewhere near the airport. This is certainly the case - just a few minutes' drive. Not much to look at from the outside (a two story affair built beside a restaurant with a single wooden door for entry), but clearly somewhere that's well cared-for inside. My single room was small but very clean and nicely fitted. Bed, desk, ensure nook. A towel and bar of soap were provided, along with tea and coffee making facilities (no shampoo/toothpaste). No shops very close by (except one pub, one takeaway and the restaurant) - I hiked down to a Woolworths that was beyond sight, but probably only fifteen minutes walk away. I stayed overnight to sleep between flights and would happily do so again. I was on a reasonably tight budget for this trip and think for a longer stay, I'd go with a cheaper option a bit further from the airport. If I ran this hotel I'd feel happy with what I provided.

Best you do not stay here. The rooms look nothing like the photos on the site. Our room was not ready on arrival and another guest opened her door to find two people shagging on her bed. Don't worry the staff changed the sheets. Oh it's very dirty.

I read all the bad reviews, and was expecting the worst.
People's standards must be very high, I needed a one night stopover in Sydney, it was perfect. Clean, reception friendly and helpful, 5km from domestic airport. Yes noise can be an issue, maybe not for light sleepers, I slept like a log.

if they had a rating of less than one star I would give it to this hotel. sheets were not changed in the rooms, dirty cups and towels were left in our room.

High prices for substandard accomodation. Booked for 6 people and got 4 beds, one of which was broken. One room was tiny and the other was right up against the Princess Highway with trucks and heavy traffic all night long.

I can only assume that '4 star accommodation' is a motto of some description as it in no way describes whats on offer

Reception - door opens outwards so difficult to maneuver bags in. Carry own bags up 2flights of stairs. Window in our room was broken, parcel tape covering the hole, letting in road noise.

Only one pillow each, asked for more receptionist said he had no access to more pillows at that time - 10. 15 pm.

No room information so no number to phone reception. Had to guess. Found after 3 rd try.

Bathroom door top hinge pin fell out, so couldn't close.

    Not a heartwarming experience!

Met more unhappy guests as we were leaving.

Do not stay here if you value your sleep. The walls are so thin you can hear everything in the room next door including the person next door going to the toilet. Water pipes gush loudly in our room anytime someone else uses the water. Our room was on the ground floor with the window facing Princes Hwy so it sounded like the traffic was going through our bedroom all night.
Staff were ok & food at the restaurant was actually good value & tasted pretty good.

Booked direct and paid for 3 people 2 weeks in advance. When we arrived they only booked us for 2 persons. They were no help we were left to find other accommodation at 7pm that night. They gave us a refund but no beds. Never again worst experience we have ever had thrown on the street by this hotel. Never even got a feed. Promised budget rates, but only if you can get the room you paid for. Minus 10-

A horrible experience, not parking in the hotel so you have to park your car a block away from the hotel into a dirty, dark little street and then walk to the hotel which it is very scary if you are a woman walking along. The hotel was so noisy, I was not able to sleep all night. The receptionist made me sign a paper that I did not understand what it was. But I was too tired and it was too late into the night for me to look for another hotel. Horrible place

Close to airport, close to train station. The rooms are good value for money and have everything that you need. Harry's restaurant not only has a great name but is good food at ridiculously cheap price. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Check in is strictly 2pm or you can rent a room for $10 an hour. Don't expect to check in early. The rooms are tiny and have no place to put your clothes. The fit and finish of the room is not good. I've heard some guests complain that their room doesn't have a door on the bathroom. The general condition of the rest of the place is somewhere between poor and trying. The restaurant is actually quite decent with reasonably priced meals and decent food. The rooms do not have refrigerators so if you're one to stash a couple beers to have at night you're out of luck. The beds are alright and wifi is free. If you're a light sleeper then noise may be an issue.

Hotel was fine, as were the staff. Only issue was the bin wasn't emptied which had a pair of underwear in it very gross. Would've been 3 stars if not and a positive experience but no coming back from that really gets the imagination going anytime you touch anything. It's a shame as a quick and simple second check of the room could have avoided the issue and the room was (seemed) otherwise very clean.
