The backpacker at Central is Ok, but if you are looking for a longer acommodation and they offer you to go to "Casa Radiante" Bulwara Road 373, Ultimo. Please don't accept, the backpacker is so dirty full of cockroaches, bedbugs in matress and even rats. The staff to cook is horrible and the kitchen is always dirty. Apart from that, you will have to pay a bond to live there and the owner will never give the money back (it happened to many people).

I'm in a single room in between men and women toilets. Very noisy from both toilets. the door in the toilets were making loud sound and I cannot have a peaceful sleep even with ear plugs on. I have talked to the duty manager in the weekend. There was no free room, and he has done nothing to improve my situation.

Lovely backpacker. Friendly staff. Power cords available for top bunks. Cheap but clean and tidy. Recommended.

Overall, it is a good and comfortable place. In the first look it seems a bit old but it has a comfortable environment. The main problem for me was showers :-) the temperature of water changed alot sometimes and became cold. I hope they solve this problem.
