Really nice place but another tourist trap, so beware prices are high. Its still really nice and cool especially the canals. When the canals open back up for boat rides i recommend that sadly they didn’t open up yet, so if you’re coming for this well change your plans. Dont be fooled by social media lies.

The Madinat itself is great. It has great views and ambience. Some of the eateries are not what'd you'd expect in a place like this so do your research before you waste your money as there are way better places to have great food for what you'd fork over here.. Great for casual meet ups to enjoy the views. Can get a bit crowded on weekends and parking is a bit pricey.

Nice place, very nice surrounding. You can get there by public bus, but you will have to walk around 15min from the bus station until there. There are restaurants, but the prices are a bit spice. I would recommend to go there just for a walk and to enjoy the sightseeing.

A nice touristy market. You will find everything you are looking for over there. Just always remember not to pay the first price they give you for anything as you can take it for half the price at the end if you work your way to it. Nice place to buy gifts. They also got a nice collection of silver over there. You can easily spend few hours over there as you check the stores and grabbing something to eat.

A unique mall with Arab tradition accent in the heart of Jumeirah. Beautiful Arab traditional architecture fused with modern Dubai lifestyle. Get anything Arab, from gifts, cloths, custom perfumes to sand art and more. Near the only '7 star' Hotel in the world - Burj Al Arab and some of the best Hotels in Dubai. Nice restaurants around as well.

Amazing combination of contemporary and traditional architecture in one place. You can do lots of things here from bazaar-like shopping, dining(casual, romantic, grill n bar, etc) , coffee, sightseeing. Big plus point is that it's next to Burj Al Arab, a famous point of interest for Dubai tourists.

A delightfully different shopping experience. There are over 80 shops and 20 or so food outlets. Souvenirs and trinkets as well as more traditional shops, fashion, art, home accessories perfume and jewellery
A great way to spend a day meandering the bazar like "streets" indoor and outdoor, alone or with family and friends. Or you can just come to have a meal in one of the many restaurants. When the weather permits it, sitting outdoors is most rewarding.
There is easy underground self parking for those coming by car.
This souk is a must experience for any visitor to Dubai.

Love love love the Souk Madinat. Enjoyed visiting the location and that i decided to go back for a second time.

It is one of my favourite places in Dubai. Lovely pubs, good music, ambience and views that are great for pictures.

There is a variety of food as well and all sorts of little gifts to buy if you are a tourist.

We are definitely going back to this Souk.
I recommend the little boat trip. There is a great perfume shop in the Souk, we found the perfect gift. The guy was very helpful and did not get fed up with me trying different scent's.
There is something for everyone, it's very relaxed and romantic. Lots of restaurants to choose from.
Highly recommend it for a half day or more

The entire Souk is a pleasant and peaceful location, even at busy times. The parking is good and there is also valet parking and many, many taxis available all the time. The collection of restaurants and bars is vast and they all have a unique feel and most have a great vista. The Souk itself is very much aimed at the Western tourist and many pseudo-arabic trinkets and clothes are available. It's quite easy to get a little lost even though it's not vast. I would recommend an evening trip here.

Beautiful location and recreation of traditional middle eastern market. This one is developed in a traditional way and different from the modern malls of Dubai. Ambience is just great, lovely place to do see and do shopping of traditional art, cultural items, artefacts like carpets, clothing, crockery, etc.

Amazing shopping mall, one of the coziest. Built in old-fashioned souk style, it has diverse shops, restaurants and cafes to fit all needs.

I'd pay a visit even if you weren't planning to buy anything, as the place is worth seeing on its own. It offers great views to Burj Al Arab on the terrace of Costa!

A must visit place for shopping antique stuffs, a place with great ambience I must say especially with all the lightings in the night. Explore it in detail and spend time at all the key locations to have a real feel of the place. The water ways inside the mall, the amphitheatre, the waterfront restaurants, boat ride, the night views, a great place to hangout..you will never regret it..

Beautiful place. It gives you the real feel of the old Arab souk with it's classic soul like building and interior. I won't suggest really shopping there because everything here is super expensive. But it's got some amazing restaurants and bars. You can have a romantic dinner here sit outside by the small lake with the palm trees and enjoy a wide variety of cuisines! Strongly recommended.

Balcony views so picturesque. Depending on the restaurant you go to the mood will be set. They have a great wine bar where you can go enjoy cheese & crackers alongside an assortment of great whisky, scotch and wine.
Everything from high end eating to causal bars. Places for family and shopping for high quality trinkets.

We enjoyed our Christmas afternoon there with my 7 Mos old baby. That place was our dating place. Quiet, romantic and a lot of options. Family and couple friendly. Will go back for either a relaxing afternoon tea, a sunny brunch or an intimate dinner.

Beautiful Mall, lots retail shops, live music, so many restaurants and games for children. Beautiful architecture, and entry is free, so no one should leave Dubai without visiting this place. Best please to shop souvenirs.

It's just a wonderful place. It is like a small city or a village with almost everything you need it has a hotel, theater, shopping mall decorated as the old traditional Arabic Market or Souk which is full of nice yet expensive souvenirs.
The view is fabulous over looking the amazing Burj Alarab.

Really lovely day or night out in Dubai. There are a number of interesting little shops, selling various items from rugs & carpets to souvenirs and al sorts of little trinkets. Restaurants are scattered, offering a nice variety of cuisines. It can get busy over the festive season!!!

An OK place to visit but not necessarily the "real Dubai". Mainly visited by Western/European tourists and the prices reflect that. Moving away from the touristic element, the souk environment itself, though all artificial, is a pretty impressive atmosphere and the spectacle is worth a look. There are some nice restaurants/cafes (not cheap given the area). Should you visit the Souk Madinat Jumeirah? Sure, that said, unless you are staying/living nearby you are unlikely to be a frequent guest.

Very clean, modern Souk that looks like a palace from outside. The artifacts inside for sale are wonderful to see, however, expensive. Lots of restaurants to eat if fealing hungry. We actually went to The Noodle House, which you can sit outside. Highly recommend this restaurant as very delicious food and reasonably priced. Best time to go is at night due to the lovely lighting, to gets those extra special pics. Oh and forgot to mention you may bump into a celebrity if your lucky in the Souk. I meet Peter Andre 😁

Although recreated, still gives a feel of a souk. Very nice shops and restaurants. You can easily sit by the water and relax some hours away.

Very pretty setting. Ate great Lebanese food. Don't shop there if you're a visitor, it's so overpriced. You can get the same stuff elsewhere for 2 thirds of their prices.

Some good deals can be negotiated there. Love the flair. Few years ago it was expensive to dine there. Now it is quite moderate. They did not get cheaper; everywhere else got more expensive 😂

Really like this place. One of my favourite places in Dubai. Plenty of restaurants and places to have a drink. Views of the Burj Al Arab as well are possible. Quite centrally located in Dubai, 15 minutes from downtown and perhaps the same from the Marina.
