The carnival in palm garden was very nice. Good varieties of food. Activities and special buffet for kids. We had a very good time. The live music is also very entertaining.

Sheraton is one of the oldest hotels in JBR and it definitely stands out as an outdated building. The lobby, rooms and facilities could do with a facelift. That said, the hotel is still very high end. I thoroughly enjoyed the size of the room and bathroom. There was parking for guests (rented a car) and the beach was excellent. Breakfast buffet was 5 stars! Would recommend booking if a deal is available, we got the rooms pretty cheap for the Christmas period. Also look out for events taking place, Sheraton is known for themed nights.

This beachfront resort, set overlooking the Gulf, lies 9 km from the Emirates Golf Club and 14 km from both the Palm Jumeirah archipelago and the indoor slops at Ski Dubai.

The refined rooms and suites come with free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs and minibars, as well as tea and coffeemakers. Some have Gulf views. Suites add separate seating areas; upgrades include private check-in, access to lounge and other perks.

The 9 individually decorated restaurants serve cuisine ranging from Chinese to Lebanese, plus a lounge (restrictions). There's beach access, plus a gym, a pool and a spa. Water sports are available (for a fee).

Down at the reception, a professional manager, a big smile on his face, promised a better room for the night. After a cup of coffee, pampered by Jose the restaurant supervisor on duty, I went back up.

Back to the room I was positively surprised! An Ozone machine installed in the room cleaning the air and absorbing the smoking smell; bravo guys, you rock! It’s not about the problem itself but about how it’s handled; the manager on duty did a great job.

One of the older 5* hotels.
+ Private beach access, nice garden with grown palm trees, good gym, great location at the JBR walk. Service ok but not exceptional.
    - Rooms a little outdated, average breakfast. Overall the experience doesn't feel quite like the standard of other 5* hotels in Dubai.

Main reason to book this hotel for me was access to beach and garden to relax a bit, which paid off.

This is my local pub (Moods Bar), and I am definitely biased. Familiarity has made me a life long fan. Simple old pub with a pool table and friendly staff. Might be a bit smokey and run-down for those with a higher level of expectation. Outdoors bars, pool and grounds are great for day trips and the chicken noodles from the Chinese restaurant might be the best in Dubai.

Great layover stop. The beach is excellent, club house is comfortable, and people were very friendly.

Fine hotel, looking a bit dated for the area. The entrance is hard to locate on foot. It is around the south side of the building.

Stayed here for 4 nights in November, had a lovely time,. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The pool area is really good, its clean and the waiters are very attentive without being annoying (pool bar music could be a bit quieter, this is our only criticism of the hotel). Moods bar is the greatest. Have to say Jay, Kathy, Lillybeth and Stephanie were so friendly and welcoming. We had some really good evenings and meals tbere, you can get meals delivered to Moods from any of the restaurants in the hotel. Just ask the staff. The locals are a hoot so friendly and welcoming not at all stand offish, this is without doubt a bonus for this hotel. The rooms are really nice. We had a problem with our kettle and it was replaced within 10 minutes. The breakfast were really good something for everyone, no need to eat the same thing every day unless you wanted to. The waiting staff were attentive for coffee refills and if you require something not there they would get it for you. Would definitely stay here again

My first visit to Dubai for our anniversary and my husband had to meet clients. I saw my first camel (on the beach). I walked in and around the hotel. This hotel and everything around were to die for! There is no limit to the things that can be done in and around this hotel. Oh and the foodTake your camera and have at it!

Very nice clean hotel with a good choice of places to eat. Staff were friendly and courteous, whilst remaining professional at all times. The one thing I would say is that there is a lack of wardrobe and drawer space.

Lovely hotel and very pleasant stay. I stayed for 7 days had a corner room by the lifts which was very spacious for one person. The food in the pool bar, while pricey was delicious. Same goes for the café. Every member of staff interacted with was so lovely and polite. My favourite part about the place was the fact that the swimming pool was pumped with cold water which meant when it was 46 degrees outside, you could chill in the pool and not feel like you are going to completely melt away.

The hotel check in took more than a quarter of an hour due to the availability of one employee, then the driver told me that he would bring the bags from the car but I had to tell him again after he forgot so it took time.
Comments were added with the reservation, including the addition of a bed for the child, but were not seen and not equipped.
The garden was very beautiful, the swimming pool is wonderful and the water is mild but the beach has annoying repairs and there is bad grass spread over the sea.
The room was comfortable and quiet and the air conditioning was good but when they provided the baby bed they said they only provide baby bed without a pillow or cover.
The location of the hotel is generally excellent and there are many cafés, restaurants
    The room price was reasonable.
Finally these negatives have to be corrected to deserve five stars.

The reason I give 4 stars is due to no drawers to store belongings, closet space very limited for a Suite. Also it takes a lot of effort to get requests accomplished and most times they do not understand the request.😳

I had been to bliss bar it was a pretty amazing chilling place for winters not for SUMMERS they have arrangements like chillers n all but still the heat in Dubai is a bit overpowering it has good music as well but ya winters can be rated as 5* but summers I guess 3* just cuz its only an open place

Good hotel with beach and pool. A bit crowded when we were there. View on beach is not so nice, as lot of construction going on.

Beautiful building and a very nice privet beach. It was a little noisy due to construction of a building across the way

Nice location near beach, but traffic specially on weekend could be an issue to reach hotel. Hotel property is quite old but maintained well and could be better! friendly staffs let you enjoy more.

Was in Dubai for Business and this hotel was my home.

Everyone here is great, but Sophia who works in Moods bar was the best. Everyday I came to the bar after work. She knew what I like to drink, she knew my name and all of my coworkers names, she advised us on good food options, etc. Sophia is great!

Next is the Chinese Restaurant upstairs, some of the best Chinese food I've had. The spicy chili beef was my favorite but we tried many things over the weeks of staying at the hotel.

Overall this is a great hotel. Good food, good people, good beer options, pool table in the bar, good music in the bar and restaurants, etc. Coming to moods after a long day working was the highlight of my day, looking forward to saying hello to Sophia, getting a cold beer, playing some pool and having a burger or ordering some Chinese.

Thank you to the great staff at Sheraton that made my visit your hotel pleasant and stress free!!!!

Great hotel. Great location. Has own private beach which was great. Lots of water-sport activities available. Easy to get to many of the main tourist sites such as Bur Al Khalifa/Dubai Mall etc. Staff were great as well.
