After four years ago the second time in this Hotel, but Bathroom needs to be renovated. 4 years ago, there were escorts of the security in each lift, which I greatly appreciated, which of course is still available on the ground floor sind lp . At breakfast I missed the smoked salmon and some more variety.

Currently staying at Ramada Plaza and cannot fault the service or staff.. always welcoming staff.

Paying the tax wasn’t an issue as I was fully aware of that n expecting it but I was unaware of the fact that I had to pay a deposit.. if it is an option I would rather not have handed the deposit as I could really do with that extra cash right now!

Hotel has a great view near to the beach and you can find Starbucks,mini market beside the hotel.

other than that you may find a daily struggle with connecting to WIFI and you may endup calling 0 or reception multiple times till they get it right.

Nice hotel with good amenities. The hotel is close to the JBR walk, the beach. It is close to Dubai tram Jumeirah residence station. During my trip i stayed at a huge suite comprise of 2 bed room, 2 bath rooms, dining room, living room, kitchen, refrigerator, and washing machine.

The swimming pool is very nice, because water temperature is maintained at comfortable level in winter.

The breakfast selection is okay, enough variation of western, indian, somewhat vegetable and fruits.

Great location to stay in Dubai!! Very close to Dubai Metro, Tram, The Palm and Beach.
Hotel services can improve though, specially the lengthy queues for breakfast. Also be careful of the reception staff trying to cross sell services at the time of check in which you most likely may not use/need during your stay mainly due to lot of alternate/better options available in the neighborhood.

The workers are great and helpful who would clean the place specially been there for us when we needed them at the penthouse really good two lads the rest people at the reception absolutely awful. No service damn rude and the restaurant serving cold tea or even ignoring you, have to keep on calling them.

Very nice hotel in a good location close to the beach. We were upgraded to a 2 bedroom suite which was huge! Only reason I can mark it down is because if you time breakfast wrong you end up queing out of the door until a table becomes available. Also be aware on check in you have to pay a city tax. You are also expected to pay quite a large deposit on the room which I declined to do.

We spent 3 night's in October at the Ramada and we were more than happy with everything provided there. Our room was well equipped with everything we needed and the room itself was spotless. We have said that when we go back to Dubai we would definitely stay at the Ramada.

Great location if you just want to chill by the beach. Lots and lots of dining options not up to a minutes walk. Great sauna. Breakfast could be bettetit was never hot mostly lukewarm sometimes cold. Staff are friendly. Hotel facilities are great. A bit far from everything else though; be prepared to spend a lot on taxis.

Definitely not the best place in the area, but you really can't go wrong in terms of being walkable. If you want to simply be on walking distance to the beach and night life, it'll do.

A perfectly located hotel in the JBR/marina district of Dubai. We arrived earlier than the check in time from Abu Dhabi but that wasn't an issue. The check in was seamless and extremely friendly. Our room was ready, so we could check in and head down the beach (5mins walk). The pool is an ok size and is next to hotel. There's not amble lifts in the hotel but that wouldn't deter from using again. The room was very big for the two of us and came with a balcony.
Will definitely be using this place again for the weekend getaway to Dubai from Abu Dhabi.

We had a really nice stay at Ramada for 6 days. The service was great and the prices was a lot better than most other hotels in the area. The hotel is just a 3 minute walk away from the beach. However, the breakfast was not so good.

Stayed here for 4 nights on our way home from Bali to break up our trip. First impression was excellent as we arrived at 6:30 in the morning not expecting a room until 15:00, but the guy on reception got us into a room .

The room..
Nice clean good bed lots of pillows and a balcony, which we had to request to get opened. However the bathroom very dated looking and the shower worse than useless.

The hotel..
Other services in the hotel are good restaurants and bar etc. You might need to queue for a table for breakfast but once you get a table I couldn't fault it good selection.
The WiFi in the hotel is a bit of a let down they say at reception and I quote "we offer complimentary high speed Internet" this is not the case the WiFi needs an over haul! not just connection speed but over all access when on your balcony only 1 bar of signal. I think a few more access points are required.

The experience..
On our first night we were kept awake by a baby crying in the room next door out of the hotels control but I had to say it. The second night the room next to us, which had a door to join our room decided to have a party very annoying!! we contacted reception and the party ended once they rang them. An hour later we were woken by a small child banging on our door who was trying to open our door contacted reception again but when security got to the floor he was gone. Following all that while having dinner the next evening. I was asked to come to the phone to speak to reception he said and I quote again "Your wife complained so we want to upgrade your room to a suite" I thought that was a bit forward even rude but said hey let's upgrade, we might get a decent shower.. only difference was the new room had a small kitchen and two small couches. Everything else was the same.

Over all.. I probably would stay again due to the location. It's close to beach and several shops restaurants. And the Tram/Metro are close also very handy. Plus you can get the metro direct from the airport if wanted there's no need to book transfers .

The good bits first.
Soon as I arrived with family to apartment, I was impressed with my 3 bed apartment. Modern looks, nice and clean.
Beds are firm, pillows are firm and very big.
Helpful staff at check in.
Room service is good.
24 hour shop located just outside hotel. the beach is just a 5 minutes walk. A lot of food available to cater for all tastes.
Being a vegetarian, I did not struggle to find food.

Now the bad points. The WiFi is so slow, it feels like I went back to the dial up days.really annoying.
The shower in all rooms is very bad. Very bad flow and basic shower like a 1 star or 2 star hotel. it felt like I was begging for water to come out.

The breakfast in morning was 5 to 10 minutes wait.overcrowded most of the times.and food was okay. Helpful staff in canteen.

The security guards were probably most helpful out of the whole lot.

I spoke to the manager to extend my stay so that I can have late checkout. The manager helped out but it cost me over 200 pounds. However, I have kids and needed to stay the extra hours.

Overall, I am impressed with hotel and amenities in and around hotel and I would recommend families to stay here.
But they need to improve WiFi and shower facilities.especially when you are 4 star hotel.

The lifts also take ages to take you ground floor and back up. This was an everyday problem.
I am returning home tomorrow and hopefully should be smooth checkout.any changes and I will let you know on this review.
