If there is one place I would spent a year in Abu Dhabi, it's the Majlis Grand Mercure. The central location is great if you need to do a quick supermarket run and the place is a lot more lively than say, Reem Island. It's only 5 minutes by taxi to my work on Al Maryah and often I walk back over the new Zayed Bridge. The staff is extra ordinary friendly and will always help when needed. Only small point is the level of room cleaning. After a year the room is quite dusty. I noticed that the house keeping staff tries to do their work as quickly as possible but a bit more attention to vacuum cleaning would be nice. Another point is the quality of the furniture. The sofa and chairs are old and even though the sofa was repaired, it remains a very uncomfortable place to sit. Room service is okay although a bit of variety may be in order. Still miss a bar though. All in all it was a great stay away from home. Thank you for having me.

We had a brunch there recently and we are happy with the variety of food - from your usual breakfast pastries, salads, eggs cooked your own way (and pasta too! which is one of the best), some Indian food, fish, beef and a special lamb biryani. The staff are cheerful and very helpful.

My husband had enrolled for a private swimming lesson with the instructor called Kim in this hotel. I've only listened to praises for Kim every time he gets back home after the swimming sessions. Kim has been more than just an instructor and he genuinely has your interest at heart. Thanks to Kim my husband is now swimming, just after 5 private lessons. So for anyone who looking for a swimming trainer - Kim comes highly recommended!

A luxurious and spacious service apartment. A great location as well as gracious staff as host. It has a rather central location and is surrounded by great choices for food as well as other shops. The rooftop pool is beautiful and heated during the cooler season. A definite choice for us to come again.

We stayed at a two-bedroom suite. It was very clean and the rooms are spacious. The Room Service is very helpful. The runner from the housekeeping department was fast. The Events Manager was wonderful and accommodating. The waiters in the event are hardworking but still always smiling. It was a great experience for our family to stay in Majlis Grand Mercure. Thank you so much.

I enrolled my family for a swimming lesson under the supervision of Coach Kim. He will evaluate each individual based on their basic knowledge and ability and he will teach you on how to master your skill moving forward. He is very accommodating and professional. Grand Mercure offered the best swimming lessons. Great training tips from an experienced instructor. Kuya Kim was able to design a training program based on my desired results and my ability. He is extremely knowledgeable and patient. I’d highly recommend this class for those who wants to learn how to swim.

One of the best experiences in my many years of experience with hotels. The hotel is new, modern and cosy, very comfortable and quiet. Great staff always friendly and helpful. Room clean and tidy. Free private parking. I will surely come back to this place!

Very comfortable new hotel. However the buffet breakfast and dinner were poor because the place was empty and food was left lying around for ages. At breakfast the omelette chef disappeared for 10 minutes and staff couldn't find him.

An awesome hotel centrally located in the heart of the city, easy access for transportation and mall and shopping centers are just a walking distance.. Modern and well equipped kitchen rooms. Staff are amazing , friendly and helpful with a smile on their face from concierge, front office staff, housekeeping and food and beverage. if you are looking for a "home away from home" i will highly recommended this hotel
