We had a good time. The hotel is in a great location and the facilities are quite good. The staff is quite helpful (generally). The one complaint I have is that on the weekend, we were disturbed by some very loud music which went on till the early hours of the morning. Nobody took any action even when we complained to the reception.

The room was quite large (we had the 2 bedroom suite), the staff was excellent and the amenities were very good (especially loved the USB charger plugs next to the beda nice touch not found in many hotels).

It was also right next to a grocery store, several restaurants (including McDonald's) and a gas station. Plus, only 10 minutes to the airport.

The only downside was our room smelled like cigarette smoke. There was a non-smoking sign on the door, but clearly someone had disregarded the rule.

Other than that, an excellent spot and I'd definitely stay again. It's a perfect spot, especially for folks like me, travelling with my wife and 3 boys.

We went to Dubai with my family (2 adults and 3 children) and we stayed for 6 nights in two bedrooms apartment. The apartment is very nice, but you have to walk to the main hotel building and the noise level in the apartment during the night was quite loud, because of the traffic, otherwise we enjoyed a lot and it's wonderful place to stay in Dubai.
Staffs are very professional and the hotel services is very good and the rooms were quit clean and effective to assisting us to get the things we needed. Restaurant has variety of dishes in the menu but nothing special.

On the day we arrived, it was the birthday of my twin boys. The hotel offered to my boys small birthday cake and a postcard and delivered to our room. That was unforgettable! We thank you a lot for your hospitality.

The family and I had a pleasant stay. The two bedroom apartment was nice, clean, and of decent size. The staff were professionals and hospitable. However, walking between the apartment and the main hotel building to grab a bite was a bit of a letdown. Also, the underground parking garage wasn't easy to find.

Went for lunch with friend NICE Indian dishes..fresh.. TASTY.. what more I can say.. oh WONDERFUL!!!;)😙 TIME PASSES THERE LIKE SPEED OF SOUND.. YA DAMN FAST.. I WENT AFTERNOON. FOR LUNCH. THEN FOUND OUT ITS 8PM.. LITTLE MORE IT BECAME 10PM.. SAID BETTER LEAVE .. IT'S HITTING MIDNIGHT!!

The hotel service was wonderful, the rooms were clean, and housekeeping was efficient in assisting us to get the things we needed. The hotel was in perfect proximity to Leisureland for our hockey tournament. The reason for the lower rating is two-fold. First the noise level during the night was quite loud (particularly the first night). The bass from the nightclub (at least we think it was the nightclub) could be heard from our arrival and long into the night. Also, the transference of noise from adjacent rooms was very audible. The room right next door was receiving phone calls in during the middle of the night. The occupants must not have been in the room because the phone would ring about 7 times, then stop. A few minutes later it would occur again. Hotel phones are very loud to begin with, so this disruption severely impeded sleep. The second reason for the lower score was that when we pulled out the sofa-bed for our kids to sleep on, we found that it had many visible patches of mold.

Excellent food and service minded staff. The excellent staff alone is worth the stay.
WiFi works fine so you can work anywhere in the hotel.
However, if you stay there, ask for a room far away from the adjacent club - unless music until 2am does not disturb you.
The room I got at check in was already occupied. Quite a surprise but I did get a different room - no upgrade for the inconvenience though.

My stay is always pleasant at Movënpick. The staff is always eager to help and go above and beyond no matter the request. On this particular visit I was tired and a bit grouchy so I put the "Do Not Disturb" sign on my door and promptly went to sleep on my king sized bed with down pillows. In the morning, I left for a meeting, leaving the room in a hurry. When I returned I realized I had left the sign on my door and the Hospitality Staff had skipped my room. I found a staff member and asked if he could clean my room while I went to lunch. When I returned from lunch he said my room was clean and half an hour later the manager stopped by to make sure my room was satisfactory. To which I was grateful and told him so.
This is the level of service I get on every visit. Outstanding.

Wonderful experience from all - the reception, the hospitality, the travel desk, the office support guys and special mention for the staff in the restaurants - the ground floor one and of course CHUTNEY - specially Mr. Joni. The breakfast choice has been wonderful. The rooms were spacious, toilet features good. Another good part was the Starbucks downstairs
Among all the good things, there was only one incident while checking in - an unfortunate incident where I felt like being subjected to Racial indiscrimination, the rest were fine.of course my room was updated - but the experience of the incident stayed with me

What an amazing experience. Would defiantly recommend it to everyone . Staff are amazing and welcoming. Brakefast is excellent and the room service is perfect. If I ever come Dubai this is the only hotel I would stay in. Thank you for having us and we will never forget our time spent here .

Everything about this hotel is 5 star.

The facility and rooms are perfect and very well taken care of and clean.

The staff is always helpful and willing to put forth the extra effort to take care of their guest. Problems are not very common but when one arises they work fast to fix it and follow up. I had a problem with my TV not working and it was fixed in less then 5 minutes.

The room service choices are very good and varied. The buffet at each meal is fantastic and affordable and I haven’t had one thing that wasn’t perfect.

I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting the best they can find.

Good service in the restaurant , nicely maintained rooms but some staff aren't so great in treating everyone in the same manner that is the reason for me giving three otherwise this hotel deserves a 5 rating.

Nice quite place the lounge at the reception was is good if you need to have a quite business meeting. Snacks and coffee served was ordinary and service was bad service bad seems one off since the last time i was there I could not complain. When i did complain on food it was not taken seriously.

Yesterday I went back again and found no change in service levels .the coffee lounge @ entrance no one seems to really care takes ages for someone to take your order and then longer to get you the bill

Rooms are impeccably clean. The doors heavy and robust. If you are an international traveller it is best to bring a UK outlet adapter. The view from the balcony I had gave me an unobstructed view of the Burj Al Kalifa and the Burj Al Arab tower hotels. The city skyline at night is something to behold.

It did take me a few minutes to get checked in, but the bellhop was quick to take me to my room and show me how my key card turned the lights on.

The lobby is spacious with a bar and restaurant visible from check in.

Return visit. I was checked in very quickly with a reservation I had made not 3 minutes before on an external site. Even though I was 6 hours early for my check in I was provided a room that was ready and given the option to upgrade if I preferred. I later requested a bottled water replenishment in my room which was completed in 5 minutes.

I am upgrading my review to 5 stars. After my experience my family is excited to come to Dubai to stay in the Movënpick Bur Dubai on our next visit.

Very nice and reasonable accommodations especially for families utilizing the two bedroom apartments. The facilities are nice and the breakfast buffet is wonderful. It's also a nice quiet area not far from the main sites in Dubai.

I Love this hotel.
The actual staff was so courteous and friendly. It couldn't have been any better. The breakfast every morning was phenomenal, despite the lack of changes in it each morning. Along with that, the friendliness of the staff with people like Jaison and others in it, made my stay far better than it could've been. There was a personal touch which is not found in all hotels out there. The room was very comfortable and the lobby is simply beautiful especially during this time of the year. Comfortable beds as well. However, the pillows could've been a bit firmer and were far too soft.
However, that was only a minor concern.
I had no other major concerns in regards to my stay. I would also like to emphasize that, the lobby had this warm ambiance which I loved.

Overall: great hotel with great amenities! I'll be sure to visit again.
