    ITS GOOD HOWEVER..
    ''TAKE CAUTION ''
The only thing to take care about is the hidden items THAT will be charged to your bill.
Dont use even water bottle wich you think its free outside less than 0.5 dollars..cause you'll be charged about 5.2 dollars!!
All other thinks are perfect espicially front disk girls Helena and yolya.

Nice hotel near the old city of Dubai has also a reasonably good outdoors with a great balmy pool and even a full blown running track however there is noise from airplanes coming over every 2 minutes. Next to the hotel inside the attached mall -probably part of it- are a couple of bars and a pretty raucous nightclub, can make up for an interesting experience.

ere to even start? I booked a sea view room and explained that we have 2 children aged 7 and 3, so would love a connecting room, which wasn't an option online. I explained at time of booking that we are willing to obviously pay for this on check in or if someone wants to call us prior to our visit then fine. But nothing was noted.
On check-in we get told "the room will probably be too small for all 4 of you!" To which I explained my request when I booked 4 months prior. The look on the system and it's all there, but because someone didn't look, they've now sold out of those room. No alternatives offered so all 4 of us were crammed into a double bedroom with a fold out bed placed.wait for it.."without charge from us" - That's correct, they say it like they've done me a favour and I've turned up with an unexpected child. Then they say "we've upgraded you to a see view room" and I asked them how that was possible when I paid for a sea view room? The receptionist looks at their computer screen and goes a little blank and silent and then instead of admitting their mistake and clear lie in order to cover up the room issue just goes "just follow my colleague who'll help with your luggage"

So night one, we are shattered and go to eat, which is in our package, at the restaurant and sleep off our jet lag with 2 boys who are getting grumpy.
Fast forward do evening 2. We sit down at the restaurant and get approached by the waiter who interrupts while we're deciding what to eat. "Excuse me, so on the first night we let you all eat but actually your hotel reservation says that you have only paid for 2 adults to eat. On the first night we spotted this but let you do it as you looked tired. But we cannot let you do this tonight. Your going to have to eat as 2 adults or not eat here"
Shocked, embarrassed and panicked. We are dumbfounded and my wife after 3 minutes, composes herself. She logs into the Wi-Fi and then checks the email confirmation made 3 months prior. It clearly states we are a family of 4 people (2 adults and 2 children) and we've selected dinner to be included for ALL of us.
I call the manager over and ask him his views on what I should do with my children, just to see his thoughts even thought we've just checked that we'rein the right. He tells me in a smile, that's up to you sir but you need to decide if you want to pay and eat together, feed them later or all 4 of you not eat here"
I showed him the email confirmation and he is slowly going red. Doesn't say anything and tells me to give him a moment. He then returns and says "that was a mix up. Enjoy your dinner"
So overall, if you Asian in origin and a family, expect to be treated as some second class citizens who've left their country for the first time. We saw that the "English and western: guests were treated with dignity and manners. They messed up 3 times and NOT ONCE did the words "apology" or "sorry" utter out of their mouth

    Good place for meetings.
Bit costly. Food is just ok.
    Meeting rooms are good.
Interior is great. Foyer areas are good.setup are nice.
    However, for Services require improvement.
Need to improve customer support and coordination.
Outside hotel is good to move around.
    Lobby area is great.

Beware of OVERBOOKING. I landed in Dubai only to find out that the hotel had cancelled my booking during my flight. Reason they tell me "we are unable to charge your credit card". It's funny that I have been using my card all day and you were the only ones not able to charge my card, not even to mention that my booking conditions specified PAYMENT AT ARRIVAL. Anyway, I went to the front desk and realized that they had overbooked 5 rooms !!! So, it is almost midnight and the only option they can offer me is either pay up the price for their suite or some old and moisty apartment hotel next door. I find it simply unacceptable that you treat your customers like this. I had no other choice that to find myself another hotel in the city at midnight. Certainly the last time I will be booking a room in any Hyatt hotel !!!

It was a good hotel but quality of front desk service is not very good now a days. Today (15.01.2018) I have checked in at 05:15 Morning Dubai time, the front desk employe didn't ask about the types of room I need, she gave me the room key very quickly. Out of my surprise I found thy gave me a smoking room ( very bad smell every where). Went to the front desk to change my room but they said unable to change the room.

If you are a non smoker please double check what types of room they offer you. Smoking rooms are very bad and stinky. Quality of service of this hotel falling very day.

Hyatt Regency Dubai is an attractive and fully iconic 5 star hotel specially located in the heritage area in Deira, Dubai’s historic district. Situated along the Corniche, a renowned waterfront promenade, it is at a walking distance from the Gold Souk. With a metro station next door, easily access the Dubai Museum, Bastakia Quarter, the bustling business district, shopping centers and other attractions. The Dubai International Airport is 15 minutes away.

Double room has two twin beds vs queens. Uncomfortable mattresses and the beds are literally a foot apart. The area around hotel is dirty and seedy with great shopping if you want a cell phone or car seat covers. Room is small and has one chair for sitting, poor room lighting. What a dump compared to what we expect and get in the States.

Comfortable and quiet rooms with a big TV and nice bathroom. Great staff!
Only thing I missed is a universal power outlet near the bed.

Definitely 5 Stars from me. A very welcome feeling from the second I turned up.
Very spacious room and an inviting bath awaited me after 17 hours flying time.
Breakfast Buffet from 0630-1000, and Dinner from 1800-2000 including unlimited drinks from the bar. Smokers can chose a smoking room.
Very modern, stylish, clean. I'm a Member now and will stay at other Hyatt Recency Hotels worldwide to make use of the extra benefits on offer.

Very welcoming. Really clean rooms. Nice views. You have have a mini-mall connected to the lobby. Although, at one point during my stay a cleaning guy just entered my room. He knocked on the door but I was wearing my headphones, so he just entered which really bothered me. And that is why I deducted a star.

I actually wanted to stay in another hotel but through one thing or anything ended up here. I am so very glad I did. Let's call it karma. From the moment you arrive your handed a welcome drink and minute by minute it simply got better. Of course the staff are friendly and helpful but will simply come over for conversation bringing that personal touch. Food is excellently prepared and drinks are generous.

Well located at walkable distance to mobile market, gold market and right opposite to sea. Top floors offers great view and the rooms are very spacious. The food offered is great and has great variety. The speciality is of the revolving restaurant at the top which is a good experience and a great place for a dinner with loved ones. Price is of on higher side but if that's not an issue, highly recommended for your stay in Dubai.

Excellent start of our short stay in Dubai. We were allowed to check in extremely early (with no extras charge). Mahmoud was great help. He organised everything in our room very quickly. Buffet breakfast was very tasty with plenty of choices. All staff for breakfast
was very hospitable and this was great experience. Marick was great leader and she made sure that was best buffet breakfast experience for us. Staff for a dinner in restaurant was great again. Rooms were very clean and beds are very comfortable. Could not fault this hotel in any way. Would highly recommend it.

The hotel is excellent but it's not actually near an accessible beach or even seaside. It just looks over a closed area of the sea. It's great for business but not for vacations or entertainment.

It was an ok hotel, I would rate as 3 star and not 4. The rooms were rather dated and not what I would expect from a premium brand as Hyatt.

    Would not stay here again.

Large soulless hotel really, nice rooms clean friendly staff. Expensive, near a metro station (walking distance, though they seem to have forgotten about pavements in their design layouts))

Dated room but well maintained. However , they have a really well equipped gym. Spacious cardio area . Well equipped weight lifting zone. The only downside is the pool is small and looks old . Room service and buffet breakfast is great .

Room wise the place is nice and the Iranian Resturant there is nice. But the crowd there is just a place I'd like to be mind the stereotype but old business men that would stair at anything walking.

The wedding hall has been recently renovated its a lovely place to host a wedding or company event.

Another down side is the drive there sometimes the traffic can be bad. However if you want to see old Dubai thats the area to go.
