A good four star hotel in the heart of the city on a main road. Has some good restaurants which are maintaining very good quality for years together. You would definitely need a reservation if you plan to eat in the Indian restaurant. Still if you are not in time you may not get best of the seats. There is a live performance of singing and some two girls dancing. Carpets are a bit damp and smells a bit. Toilets are clean though. service is good and fast. Taxis are available at all times. A good place for a relaxed evening

Average hotel, feels like 4 star, average service, went for an official party followed by dinner. Food was awesome. Service was a little bit slow. Nice music equipments of Bose company, but couldn't connect to our mobile phone. Overall average experience. Would like to go again for dinner.

Great location for both shoping and walking around the vivid heart of Dubai. You can find best prices for mobile phones or consumer electronics. Kind and nice staff on the front desk. Clean, tidy and large rooms with reasonable price.

Was there lunch as a part of a tour party. Nice food .nice ambience. Staff were very cordial. No idea a boutique rooms as we stayed in a near by hotel. Place near to supermarkets and nice shopping places. A metro station is near by. Lot of Indian hotels near by.

We went to the Indian restaurant inside that has live music. Food was of good quality and the artists were good. However the artists looked a little miserable. Smiling would've helped. Generally a decent hotel in the older part of town.

Great hotel with good staff. Rooms are a decent size with good bathroom facilities. Breakfast has a we section of food and freshly cooked to order dishes. The hotel bar is comfortable, but smoking is still permitted at the bar so can get a bit smoggy, drink prices are high compared to European pricing, but this is a dry country. Metro (red and green lines) can be access with a 3-5 min walk, the Dubai Museum is a 10min walk.

Nice hotel.. like 5 stars.. very clean and new decorations.. friendly stuff.. there is water sprayer (shataf) in bathroom.. there is complementary water & coffee and they bring it everyday.

The service is good and the manager is very accommodating. But they really need to improve in their food. The taste is not that good and the replenishment is quite slow.

The locality is awesome. Even the staff at the reception has been helpful. The buffet breakfast is good, but it requires some variations as well. Only thing I didn't like was they do not provide extra drinking water, per head only 500ml of free drinking water.

(2011) Very nice hotel with very friendly staff. Our entrance was fantastic. We had hired three nice cars (Porsche, Ferrari, Lamborghini) and when we turned up at the hotel parking wasn't a problem: The other cars in front of the hotel were removed so that "our" cars could stay there!

Great location for walking to restaurants, the Dubai museum but also good links to Red and Green line metro. Good service by the staff with a lovely out door pool area.
The room was an OK size, nothing else needed really with a nice decor and presentation. Room 318 there was a slight constant machinery hum, even with the air con off. Didn't detract from a great stay.
The viceroy English pub is a great place to relax with a drink and the staff were more than accommodating, in arranging the F1 to be shown on the screens.
