  Enjoyed the visit with the kitchen tour and explanation about the aging of meet. Impressive. Very good choice of vines. Nice envinronment. Fine in every aspect. Will be going back there again.

  Excellent steaks, with the hanging time for each cut prominently displayed on the menu board. Not many places that will be serving a 100+ day aged sirloin - but was a highlight the last time we visited. The roast marrow bone is also a fantastic accompaniment to most of the steak dishes.

  Best steak House in South Africa if not Johannesburg. They have a warm friendly vibe to then and are usually able to make a plan for seating even when they're fully booked. Great people and amazing food

  What a great place! Loved the ambiance! I had one of the best steaks ever last night, and found their variety, friendly service and meat to be among the very best I ever experienced!

  An amazing place for a fine dining experience and quite the range of main plates considering it's specialized in meat. I had for starters calamari heads one of my the favorite plates in this restaurant & had as well Raw Kudu & salami infused with a delicious beetroot jam & garnish of greens topped with Parmesan cheese. For the main course I was lost what to choose but in the end, I had to try the ostrich meat which perfectly cooked medium had this earthly taste although a bit chewy. In general, my experience here was filled with great taste & brilliant ambiance. The service is quick & waiter extremely friendly, highly recommend this place for meat lovers & exotic dishes.

  Best steak and service in Parktown North area. Snack bread define accompanied with good olive oil and excellent balsamic vinegar. Try the kudu starter platter magnificent.

  One of the best steak I have eaten was here. The boss also offers a kitchen tour and he shows the meat and introduces the different types if beef. When I am back in Johannesburg I will definitely go there again

  Arguably the Best Steak House in town. If well aged beef is your thing. You can't go wrong, aged beef, good wine or craft beer. Fantastic

  The steaks were excellent! Cooked perfectly and sizeable portions(my gf had to get a doggy bag!) . The service is commendable as well, the waiter didn't take time tending to our needs. It gets busy and can be a little noisy but we chose to see that as the vibrancy of the place. The kitchen tour is a must-do. Planning to bring a bunch of friends for the meat class soon!..

  One of the best T-Bone Steaks I have ever had. Make sure you take the kitchen tour before you order and obtain the chef's recommendation. Wasn't in town long enough for the "beef appreciation" which you can book a small group for, definitely next time!

  Hands down one of my favorite steak houses in SA. The service is great. Food is fantastic. Make sure to ask the patrons for a tour of the kitchen - you'll be able to see the different cuts, how they're matured, how they're prepared.

  Best steak house in SA in my opinion. Ask for Brian, friendliest manager I have ever met. Service is exceptional! Highly recommend the kitchen tour!
