  Excellent service and excellent food. Really professionally run! The price is reasonable considering the quality of what you get. The kitchen is clean and well run and the seating is well spaced out so you don't feel like you have been crammed in. All in all I would recommend this place to anyone.

  Exceptional quality of steak and excellent service. For special occasions or top class dining, this is the place. The fillet-on-the-bone was perfect.

  Fantastic restaurant. The steak is excellent and the food is great. They have a good selection of wine and whisky. They have semi private rooms that one can book. This is a classy restaurant with great decor. My only issue is that all of the Grillhouses are very similar.

  Wow. This place is classy, elegant, the service is great, the food is great, the people are great, the setup, the decor. I enjoyed the few hours I spent there. The place has a warm feel and the waiters are so easy to talk to, they really went out of their way. Big ups to them. Looking forward to spending more money there. :)

  Just the crusted lamb chops, I would rate it a 5 out of 5. Excellent seating areas, cozy, love the decor. Waiter was excellent, knew the menu well. Wide selection of food, drinks and dessert. Would go there again 20.11.2017 went there again twice last week. Not disappointed. Mash is amazing.

  I enjoyed one of the specials, prime rib. Really one of the best steaks I've ever had. Good selections of whisky, I'm not a huge fan of American Whiskey so not sure if that selection was of equal stature. Staff are very friendly. This all comes at a premium, but, worth every penny.

  Really awesome place and would definitely recommend. I had the ribeye steak and it was done exactly as I ordered. Attention to detail is great as the sides I ordered was perfectly done. I must say that I hate mushrooms but when my wife's order of mushrooms came l had to taste them and they were delicious (Converted? Maybe, if this is how they always taste)
  There is so much on the menu to try and we will be back.

  The Grillhouse was all that and more! For our table of 8, dinner service was brilliant. Very busy venue. Steaks were nothing but exceptional. Cooked to our liking. Visited Johannesburg for a conference and were lucky enough to get a reservation at short notice. A must do!

  Attention to detail. My mom ordered the medium steak, which was a bit too rare for her. She prefers the medium to well. When she asked the waiter to place put it on the grill again the manager was at her side immediately.
  
  Wanted to know what could they do better and where did the order go wrong.
  
  Thank you for understanding and delivering perfect food again and again.

  My favorite steak house in SA. I bring lots of guests here from overseas. The service is great and the food is always great. Fillet steak is what you want to order here.

  The restaurant for the lunch was busy, but as always service was excellent. The wine list top notch and the food delicious. It is always a pleasurable eating/social experience at the Grillhouse.

  Unfortunately cannot recommend The Grillhouse at all. Have had multiple unpleasant experiences there and terrible rude service and exchanges from management / front of house. Additionally they have no interest or concern for stocking ethically sourced meat. Skip it and go to The Local Grill.
